My friend and I were at Opy-Mills and it was on a weeknight, and not crowded. We had never eaten their and thought what the hay. The pros, the restaurant was clean and cute with the retro 50’s appeal. We sat at a booth with the jukebox. \r
It cost a quarter to play two songs. I put the quarter in and selected two songs. Well the songs never played. \r
The food was overly priced. I ordered just a hamburger and it was $5.83 and then another 3.59 for fries and then I forget what the coke cost. However, you are looking at over 10.00 for a burger, fries and a coke. The hamburger was slightly undercooked and still had a raw taste to it. In addition, when I bit down all the juices spewed out on me.\r
I told the server to just take the hamburger back. She must have told the manager and instead of taking accountability, he had an answer for everything. I told him that I did not want to argue with him. I would pay for the coke and fries and never come back. He made a sarcastic remark, about how unfortunate for me not to come back. I looked at him and said, No, it is unfortunate for your restaurant. I have 100’s of choices were to eat and I gave you a chance and you blew it.\r
I just feel for the price the food is just average. You can go to any fast food and get an average burger and fries for around $5.00 not over 10.00!\r
If you were in the Nashville area, a great alternative would be Steak and Shake. It has the 50’s feel. You may not have 50’s music playing but for the price of one meal at Johnny Rockets you can get 2 meals at Steak and Shake.\r
