Johnie's Broiler is a part of Downey history, as well as cinematic history. A truckstop feel pervades the googy diner that has been seen in films such as "Reality Bites," and "What's Love Got to do with It?" What the waitresses lack in enthusiasm, they make up for with pure character. more
