The Paint Doctor, aka John the Painter, should be avoided at all costs. He painted my house, guaranteeing the work. The next summer it was peeling (paint and primer), rust spots from the improperly treated nail heads were bleeding through, and mildew was evident over a vast area. When contacted he said that he would come out again a give and estimate on the cost of repairing and repainting. Nothing about a guarantee was given. His wife said that they should have pressure cleaned the house before painting. He said that WE, the owners, should have applied another coat of paint after they left. Needless to say, we did not ask this _____ to return to our property to give us an estimate. I do hope that, one day, a perspective client of his will contact us to check on our satisfaction. Avoid this company and this painter regardless of how good the estimate looks. I was sad that the lowest rating is 1 star for poor; my rating is actually lower.
