John Young Parkway Animal Hospital

I have been taking my cats to this office for about 4 years. I have seen both Dr. Susla and Dr. Day and both are good with the cats and with me. They are good about giving you all of the treatment options and understand that finances can have an impact on what you can do for your pet. When I had to have my first cat put down last year, they were wonderful in explaining my options prior to eventually making the decision and on that day. The office staff is also wonderful. They are friendly and seem to remember me from visit to visit. Another great thing about this office is that it is never difficult to get an appointment that will work with my work schedule. They have convenient hours and usually have last minute spots. They would also allow me to drop my sick cat off in the morning so they could get to him in between other appointments and when I came later to pick him up, they always took the time to talk to me. I have nothing but good things to say. more

Dr. Day has been our Vet for 8 years. She is like Family. Our Family had to put down our beloved Pandora. Dr. Day sat and cried with us for our loss. She did the same for Zeggi. She always has our best interest at heart even when she tried to talk us out of buying a Jack Russell. Now she loves Daysie and treats her like her own. She let's Daysie lick her face and loves every minute of it. Dr. Day is versatile because she also Takes care of our Cat Nigel. You will love the treatment Dr. Day will give. The support staff is very friendly also. more

Been going here for a few years now. These folks are great. They take the time to listen to you and don't try to force unnessacery stuff on you. They don't hurry you into making a decision. Prices are better than some other vets. If your furbaby has surgery they make an effort to call you to let you know there ok when done. more

I take my little cats to this vet. I think the doctor is very good and takes the time to diagnose any problems your pet may have. He makes sure to ask questions so he knows what is going on. The rest of the staff is also friendly. My cat had a bowel problem and has been fine ever since I changed to this vet. more

We started going to Dr. Susla because our previous vet was too expensive for our 4 dogs. This clinic has a great staff who always ask about our pets (by name) and call to follow up after a visit. Dr. Susla is a great vet and takes the time to explain procedures and options. They do all standard vet services. They have 4 or 5 bays so there is rarely any waiting and it's not hard to get an appointment due to their extended office hours. more

I took one of my 3 dogs for annual checkup based on the review on this site about this clinic. Very pleased with the service and reasonable prices so plan to see them again with my other dogs. more

We have been using this Animal Hospital for quite a long time now. We have several ferrets & when we got our first ferret, we checked around to find a vet who was familiar with caring for ferrets, as not all vets have had alot of experience with them. There are three vets at the clinic, Dr. Meadows was the vet who took care of our ferrets. Dr. Meadows is the most knowledgable caring compassionate vet that I have ever met in my life, and as I have had numerous animals all my life, I've dealt with vets all my life. Whether it was for just a routine annual check-up & vaccination, or treating a cold, or handling an emergency injury, Dr. Meadows took such excellent care of my babies, and treated them as if they were his own pets, he was so wonderful with them. The nurses and the front-desk staff are all very friendly & sweet also. The clinic maintains limited hours on the weekend also, which is a great convenience. Charges are very reasonable. All in all, I wouldn't trust my ferret's health & well-being to anyone else! more
