The folks at John Talley Motors are so honest and wonderful to work with that they may give used car salesman a ""good"" name!\r
\r
My daughter was looking for a Jeep Cherokee and found one at John Talley Motors online. When she called they offered to hold it for her at NO CHARGE until she could have a day off to come look at it.\r
\r
Her father and I went with her to look it over and couldn't believe how great this vehicle looked for the price. The body was in great shape - a few minor scratches; new tires & very clean. The only thing we could see was a small tear in the leather seat - they had already special ordered the fabric to fix it - which they did. \r

My daughter fell in love with this Jeep but had to arrange her financing. They agreed to hold it again for her at NO CHARGE. She got the financing and we went to pick it up. The day we arrived to pick it up, the seat had been beautifully repaired (you'd never known there was a tear there).\r
\r
However, they apologized and asked if we could wait another 45 minutes. It seems that Mr. Talley had gone out to start it that morning and ""it just didn't start the way he thought it should"" so they were replacing the fuel pump.\r
\r
As if this wasn't enough, they certified the jeep so we could purchase the extended warranty. \r

I refer everyone to John Talley Motors, Mechanicsville. I have encountered many a used car salesmen in my day but never like these folks. John & Doug Talley are par none. I challenge ANY car salesman to beat these guys.\r
\r
I'm not starting to look for another used car and I constantly check their stock. I just don't want to go anywhere else.\r
\r
Pros: honest, reliable, true value
Cons: I have to drive an hour to get there
