I loved the way katherine reads what's going on and who needs what . As the mother of the bride she made me feel like. I didn't have to think about anything else that day.she took charge and did a wonderful with all the girls we felt at home there. It was for me the best money spent on any part of the wedding .thank you everyone who works there and to my daughter melissa for treating us to this expereince .loved my hair and make up never in my life got so many compliments .made the whole wedding .yeah........ from cindy more

I had my color done for the first time,in the summer since i was not back in Phila. They used a condtiong color that left my hair shining!The girl with the roots must of had really dark ends,or they would of pulled it thru.im a retired cosmetologist. i was offered coffe,donuts,lunch. they were so professional and courtous. more

John Roberts is a great place to spend the day if you are looking for spa treatment. You can spoil yourself with a nice massage or facial. A wonderful way to relax. A word of warning though...it is very expensive! Not something that I can afford to do very often, but once in awhile it is nice. They also offer hair services. So if you aren't into the spa treatment, you can just go in for a nice hair cut or coloring. They offer manicures and pedicures as well. They do nice work, but again the services are very expensive. It's also advisable to call ahead and schedule your appointment well in advance. They do get very busy. more

I received a nice sized gift certificate to John Roberts as a present and I was very excited. I had heard about the glamorous salon and had been anxious to give it a try. When I researched it more I saw that John Roberts is actually a day spa complete with massage and facial services, but when I tried to book either of these services (three days in advance) they were booked. So I scheduled a pedicure and figured I would book a massage later. Let me begin with that I knew that John Roberts is pricey, but even I was shocked at how high priced their pedicures are. And for this high price they stuck my feet in one of those home foot soakers, they didn't have a pedicure chair in the place. I kind of felt like the staff was judging me, just an uncomfortable opposite of relaxing kind of feeling. In the end my toes looked okay, I was happy I had the GC and didn't have to actually pay the high prices for what I didn't think was worth it. I used the rest of my GC for retail items, I didn't want to go back for even though I had a good amount left on my GC. more
