John Peden, M.D. is a Mayo Clinic-trained surgeon specializing in conditions of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, and knee. He earned his medical degree from the University of Florida, completed his residency at Mayo Clinic, and pursued a dual fellowship in arthroscopy and sports medicine at Mississippi Sports Medicine. Dr. Peden has taught arthroscopic techniques for over 15 years and has published chapters on elbow reconstruction. As Medical Director for The Advanced Center for Surgery in Vero Beach, he introduced innovative procedures like the BEAR® Implant for ACL repair. He also offers arthroscopic surgery for irreparable rotator cuff tears using a biodegradable subacromial balloon spacer.
