I've been going to JohnPauls Spa Salon since it was in West Hartford. When they moved, I moved. I always go out loving my hair, and I like that it's the kind I salon you can relax in, and still come out looking fabulous! If you want good service and good fun, go here! more

Bad experience 8/26/2009

I tried the salon twice and althought the 1st experience was good, I ended up with a hair color I was not looking for... it looked great though. The second time I insisted that I wanted to be blonde. Well the results are really bad. The Highlghts are really bad. They look like something I use to get when I was 16 and going to really cheap hairdressers! But I paid 200$ !! The cut is good and John Paul does a great job for hair cuts. So if you only need a hair cut go see John Paul. He is great doing that. For highlights go somewhere else ... more

Great cuts and highlights but... 4/8/2009

I have been going to John Paul's for years now and really appreciate their service and love the cuts, but have had some less than great coloring experiences. They are great with highlights and exciting new trends, but that's about it. more

Best Salon Ever 11/23/2008

I have been a client of John Paul's for 16 years. I travel an hour to get there and it is clearly worth it. Not only is John Paul the greatest stylist, he also hires the best people. The salon is warm and friendly. The staff is always ready to meet your needs. Everyone will walk away with fabulous hair that fits your lifestyle- they listen. more

Wonderful experience, front desk is friendly and helpful. Melanie did my hair and really helped me choose the right cut and color for me and my face. She listened and gave her opinion as well. She is awesome..I will be back! more

Not just a haircut 8/8/2005

At John Paul's Salon the stylists really try to capture you. They listen and work with your hair. They do not do what they think you want but really work to give you what you want. In addition, they educate you on how to best care for your hair. My favorite is the scalp massage it is heavenly. They do not just wash your head they massage it. more
