My husband and I run a busy in mid-town restaurant (in Manhattan) which we recently expanded through the purchase of an adjoining restaurant. John Moncrief has helped us from the beginning including negotiating our first lease, applying for a liquor license, handling staff immigration applications and other matters related to the restaurant. When we bought the adjoining restaurant, he negotiated the contract, dealt with the new landlord and applied for a second liquor license. He has handled several real estate purchases for me and numerous other matters. I have paid him the highest compliment by recommending him to many friends and business acquaintances. more

I had a really positive experience with John as my real estate attorney. He is extremely knowledgeable and willing to explain all of the details involved in the purchasing and selling process. He responds very quickly, is on top of everything, and looks out for your best interest, providing advice when needed. John is also friendly and professional. I say to them that if they need someone who knows leases, who will get on job right away, protect the client and charge a reasonable fee, he is the man. more

I contacted the Law Office when I had some basic questions regarding a recent personal injury I sustained. Mr. Moncrief is a saint! He was incredibly helpful, answered all of my questions and addressed any concerns. He even made an appointment for us to meet the very next day in his office for a face to face follow-up. I was impressed with his professionalism and personal attention and would not hesitate to hire him or recommend his services. more

Don't use this lawyer for divorce, esp if you are a female. \r He overcharges and would not fight for you. \r I would definitely look else where. more
