I was very pleased on the service I received from this company. They installed a frameless shower enclosure in a professional maner. The employees of this company were very polite and nice to deal business with. They cleaned up their mess after the work was completed. Not sure about the other comments here. We had a great experience. We have a custom shower with a curtain. I couldn't find anything to fit and the shower always leaked water onto floor and ruined my ceiling in basement. We called John D Chaudron and they came out, gave me a clear quote. 7 days later, they came back and installed a custom glass shower enclosure. It looks like a NEW bathroom. It looks great and no more leaks. The fit and finish are top notch! I deal with the public in my business and maybe the people's expectations in the other reviews were unreasonable. All I know is, we negotiated a price, we received a top notch product when promised and I have a great bathroom now. BTW, I was referred to this company and I would happily refer them to my friends. more

Wish I would have looked up reviews first before trying this company...would have saved me a headache and made the decision easy to go somewhere else. Basically very poor customer service - they never returned calls, missed appointments, and were very unprofessional and rude. When I asked to speak to a manager the customer service rep asked what about and when I said it was to complain about poor service (or lack of) and that I decided to go through a different company, her response was ""whatever"" and proceeded to immediately hang up. Surprised they are still in business. more

I had a broken window pane for my patio door that was shattered and needed replacing. So I was referenced to this company by someone who knew the owner. Long story short, it has been 8 weeks now and I have never received as much as a phone call from them. I called every week for eight weeks straight with the promise of a phone call and estimate, never receiving either. I was fed up after 4 weeks and told them if I couldn't get an estimate by the end of the week I would use another company instead that could get the job done. Two days later a guy came and took measurements along with taking the grid between the inner and outer glass panes, so I figured they were on the ball now since I threatened to take my business elsewhere. Wrong! Throughout the next 4 weeks that I called, I never received a call back from anyone and never received an estimate. The last time I called on week 8 that I demanded a quote by end of business day or the return of my window grid the customer rep person told me I never received a quote because of my attitude this whole time. She also gave a lame excuse that because I had told them I received a second quote from someone else that they just decided to not bother, yet they sent someone out two days after I told them that to take measurements. To this day I still do not have my window grid and have had to file theft charges with the police department to try and get it back. Save yourself the frustration of dealing with this completely unprofessional, incompetent company. You will be paying for it in the end like I am. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! Unfortunately I have to give this company 1 star on this site.....it would be 0 if I could. more
