AWEFUL!!! I have eaten in the restaurant before; and I was quite good. However; Dining In created a disaster. 1 entr?e was way too salty, steak undercooked, baked potato was missing (but the butter and sour cream were there), food arrived cold and adjustments were not accepted by Dining In or John Brewers. $80 in the trash. We ended up cooking. NEVER AGAIN more

I've ordered the steak w/ mashed potatoes and I love them and the pub skins are pretty good too. The only downside is that they Really need to change up their veggies more often. more

Good beer, good food. Can't ask for much more for a conveniently located pub! Highly recommend the 'large' beers to wash down the wings. Pretty standard bar food menu, but you won't be disappointed in quality or price. Pros: value more

Love it!! 4/21/2003

I loved this place! Great laid back atmosphere and loved the menu even more! There was a good band that played later that night (don't remember the name though). I highly recommend the nachos and chicken tender platter, the chicken tender platter was probably the best I've had in the Boston area! Also, the prices were phenomenal; fairly cheap for such great food! Highly recommended and I will definitely be back! Pros: FOOD WAS GREAT, Prices, laid back atmosphere more

great menu 7/22/2002

I have visited John Brewers several times and have never been disappointed. It has a wonderful selection of menu items. I always have the NE Clam Chowder to start and the ribs are to die for! more
