How can you NOT love this place? 1/31/2010

One word: PHENOMENAL! Two years ago I stumbled across Joey D's on my first day in Bradenton. The smell attracted me, as I went to Office Depot to pick up some supplies. I DID NOT REGRET MY DECISION! I sat down to the MOST AMAZING meatball pie I've had. From their Rush Street Pizza, to the BACON CHILI CHEESE FRIES (My wife is ADDICTED TO THESE!)...I am NEVER....EVER...disappointed at Joey D's. It is AMAZING! I have a friend who's from Chicago...we took him here for his birthday...he's every bit as hooked as I am. Says it's the most authentic food he's found outside the city. He LOVES the Maxwell Street Polish. I can't stop talking about this place! Tommy D...you guys do an AWESOME JOB! I'll keep coming here religiously until my service commitment takes me away in 2 years! more

Awesome Food, and very friendly staff. Their white pizza is my favorite. Great chicken fingers. Sports bar atmosphere, Chicago Bears Sports memorabilia all around. more

Great food 6/10/2008

Good size portions, fresh salads and great food. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. The prices are very reasonable. The wings and pizza are excellent! Highly recommend!! more

Authentic Chicago style Pizza 3/29/2008

Okay, I've never been to Chicago but friends who are knowledgable about such things say that Joey D's pizza is authentic Chicago. All I am sure of is that it's delicious. They have more than just pizza; their spaghetti is wonderful. As I make my way through the rest of their menu I'll give you updates on their sandwiches and other offerings. Prices are quite reasonable and they do have local delivery. \r Gail M. more
