Joe's is delicious! Service is fast and friendly. Our family favorite is the chicken carccofi, yum! The pink sauce they use is beyond compare. My husband loves the philly sub because he loves how the meat is fresh and not dry. The kid's always go for spaghetti. We always get a side order of meatballs and garlic rolls for appetizer. The warm, soft garlic rolls in combo with the airy meatballs make for a great start. This a place we visit once a week because of the great value and great quality. Thanks so much Joe's!!! more

I've only been to Joey's for breakfast. Weekends are very busy but the staff seems to still get the job done. Weekdays are much quieter. Being from the south, I'm a big fan of their biscuits and gravy. They do a reasonable job the gravy. I love it here! more

Great service, BYOB, delish pizza, perfect local hangout 3/9/2011

I've lived in my neighborhood for about two years and have been to Joe's too many times to count. We go there with all of our neighbors to end the work week and jump start the weekend. It is a great little hole in the wall that serves wonderful NY style pizza and great salads too--the BYOB part is bonus! We have our favorite servers (Jessica and Farah) and when we arrive, they greet us with smiles on their faces and treat us better than some 5-star restaurants. If we don't have plans on a Friday night, chances are, we will be at Joe's. I'm sorry, California Pizza Kitchen is so commercialized. This is unique, cozy, friendly, and makes you feel like you are back in your old neighborhood. Thanks Joe's for making our TGIFs somein' special ;) Kristy more

Attentive workers 3/3/2011

This restaurant is the first sit-in restaurant without a famous name like California Pizza Kitchen. The restaurant wasn't a big one, but it was extremely busy on a sunday night. One of the waitress seated us, and first smiled, then asked for what we'd like to drink first, then gave us the menu for us to look at. I am the type that has to know exactly what it looks like whats in it. I asked many waiters/waitress what they would recommend and usually they do me wrong... She gave me options in different categories of food, and kindly explained whats in it. My favorite part was that my glass was never empty. Food tasted great! try their greek pizza with the sauce!!! more

No delivery after 1 hour wait time 1/7/2011

Our school is only 5 minutes away and when I placed order they said delivery could be made it 12:30pm. They never showed and no communication made. We canceled order. more

Nasty, rotten shrimp served 8/19/2010

I was served rotten shrimp. there were two. I showed them including the one I spit out and the manager would not even come talk to me and said I had to pay for 1/2 the meal. I used to be a regular. Not anymore. She kept sending the waitress over to talk to me and refused to give me my receipt. I am calling the health dept. This used to be owned by Brooklyn, authentic guys. now who knows but the lady who refused to talk to me was not english speaking. I will never step foot again and warn everyone that they are cutting corners. It was sick, sick sick meal. The shrimp were black...which I didn't know until I wiped the sauce off. Nasty. Nasty, Nasty. more

Best pizza I've had in years. 4/6/2008

I went here with a couple of friends fully expecting this place to be like any other pizza joint.\r \r The manager was actually from New York and it was plain in his speech. \r \r The pizza itself was the best I've tasted in a long time. The cheese was the best and the pepperoni was thicker than other places (most others are paper-thin now).\r \r I loved it so much that I came back the next day, bringing my own friends. Pros: GREAT pizza! Service was great too. Order-taker was nice and kept our drinks filled. Cons: Parking was a bit cramped as it was in a strip mall. more

Worst Service on the Planet! Never delivered my order. lost it and then were rude when I wanted a refund! Avoid this place! 5/18/2007

Rude people and worst service. They lost my order and then gave me a hard time when I wanted a refund. Scam artists and very rude. Pros: There are no Pros about this place Cons: Mean people, poor service, very slow, rude, they lie more

BEST PIZZA in Dallas!!!!! 2/14/2007

I have tried every mom and pop place north of 635 (by the way if you like gourmet pizza go to dinner at Fireside Pies), and this place beats them all!! They have cheese pizzas already made if you want to add your toppings by the slice. However, a fresh pizza is the BEST.\r \r I *love* the white pizza (does not have alfredo sauce) with tomato and basil. And the crust is so yummy!!\r \r Yes, they are from New York and not friendly. Who cares? Are you there for a friend or are you there for the food? The service is fine.\r \r I highly recommend it and it's easy to call ahead and take a delicious pizza home. Much better than chain pizza joints. Pros: GREAT PIZZA - the best in Dallas Cons: Service is fine - friendly faces not so much more

Best pizza anywhere 7/6/2006

We decided to try Joe's since it was close to where we used to live, and we were not disappointed. If you're expecting some fast service like Pizza Hut or Ci Ci's don't try this place. They are a small family owned restaurant, and Friday or Saturday is not the night to try them. The pizza, however, is amazing. Since we have moved, we call ahead and pick up our orders on our way home. The restaurant is not plush, but the food makes up for it! Pros: Food, Reasonable Prices more

Not Recommended 4/17/2006

We spend a lot on Delivery, decided to use Joe's one time to try them out. We ordered delivery and the pizza arrived HOT 30 minutes late. Decided to try them again and the person that answered the phone told me that they didn't deliver to my area. When I told them they did before they basically told me it wasn't them. When I pressed them harder, the man told me that they were busy and short handed and couldn't deliver. Service is the worst that I've ever experienced. more

Very Bad Service 4/5/2006

I would not recommend this place to anyone. There were a total of 3 other tables in the restaurant and the server was just standing around along with the cooks. It took 20 minutes for our tossed salads to come out and that was only after we had to ask for them. Finally, our slice of pizza and meatball sub came and it was okay but nothing worth waiting 45 minutes for. Please save yourself the hassle and go some place else. more
