Great shop with excellent customer service 6/10/2008

I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a reasonably priced bike or for a repair. They are very knowledgeable and are willing to go that extra mile to help. I bought my son a good, brand name, bike there that was reasonably priced compared to most bike shops. He loves how it rides and handles. I brought it in with a flat tire when the owner was closing up the the shop, and he opened back up and fixed it for him. That kind of service is hard to find these days. Pros: Knowledgeable owner, good location, good products, no- pressure sales Cons: None more

Good honest personal service, deal with the owner, no slick gimmicks 11/28/2006

I've purchased five bikes from Joe's Bike shop for my sons and myself over the past 7 years, and I am nothing but perfectly satisfied, not to mention all the accessories and parts we've gotten there. If you want to know that the person you are buying your bike from will be there when you need them, go see Ron at Joe's Bike Shop on South Park Road in Bethel Park, PA. He's the owner, the mechanic, the salesman and the new bike prep man...he does it all! You will get straight answers and a fair deal on all types of bikes: mountain, BMX, road, comfort, cross...you name it! If he doesn't have it, he can probably get it, and if he can't get it, he'll tell you (and you probably don't need it!). Always support your local merchants, so they will always be there to support you! At Joe's you won't see slick store displays, like some ""high end"" bike shops have, because high overhead equals higher prices. You also won't get a new bike that is not adjusted properly because some bike shop ""trainee"" assembled it. (I have helped my sons' friends out when that happened on bikes they purchased at one of the ""big name"" bike shops.) more

Worst shop in town 9/22/2006

This bike shop does not sell quality products, nor do they stand behind what they sell. They are not very knowledgeable either. I had a really bad time here, I've had much better experiences at Gatto, TRM, BigBang, and Korbers. more
