We rebuilt the family room and remodeled the kitchen recently. Since this is our first home remodeling project, we were quite nervous about it at the beginning and we wanted to find the right contractor. After reading good reviews online and comparing the quotes from a few contractors, we decided to work with Joel and Company. The staff is reliable, friendly and they did a great job throughout the whole remodeling process. In the process Joel gave us helpful suggestions, which turned out to be quite nice. The remodeled room and kitchen looks fantastic and we are very satisfied with the outcome. As a licensed contractor, their price is reasonable and they did everything what they have promised. I will definitely recommend Joel and Company Construction to anyone looking for a competent, reliable and professional construction company in the Los Angeles area. I recently contracted them to do earthquake retrofitting, re-piping, and up grading my electrical panel to a home I recently purchased. Throughout the project they were always on time, the workers always clean up after themselves, the job was done on schedule on budget, and they always took the time to answer my questions and phone calls. My wife and I just bought a condo in Los Angeles and we needed two bathrooms remodeled and hardwood floors installed. We had a few bad experiences with contractors in the past. Finally a general contractor...... I've called a few other companies from citysearch and all I've gotten is salesmen at my door! I'm not buying a car people!!!! I called this company in early January for an estimate and Joel (the contractor) stopped by to go over the list of things I wanted done to my house. Later in the evening I got an estimate via email! Joel explained the process of the work, listed in detail the things I was wanting done and gave me a time frame. Their price was good, they have an outstanding reputation and everyone I came across had a great attitude! Joel & Co Construction did such an amazing job completely renovating my home. I had all three bathrooms remodeled and my kitchen. I've been wanting to get this done for years. I've been patient and careful in choosing the right construction company to do the work, my concern was the detail and finish work at the end. I had so many quotes and i've researched every company who gave me an estimate and in the end it was all worth it. I'm really happy that I picked Joel to work with me and remodel my home. When I saw how beautiful my neighbors remodel looked I wanted the same for my condo. I met with the Joel, he told me the ways I could transform my condo. I started with my sons bathroom. The workers came on time every morning and worked hard all day and before I knew it the bathroom was finished and looked beautiful. Next was my bathroom and it is even more fabulous. The work was done in a timely manner. All the workers were hard working, pleasent, and did beautiful work. And Joel was great to work with, very helpful and informative. He has always been avaliable for any questions or concerns. I would recommend the company to anyone who is remodeling. more
