I had ordered from Joe Momma's approximately one year ago and received horrible service. The food arrived in a timely fashion but the delivery person would not speak to me, nor would she tell me what the cost was. I gave her a $2 tip, which I found to be sufficient for the service.\r

I received a phone call about 30 minutes later, in which the owner, Chris Mayer was screaming at me about not tipping his employee. I explained that I was not pleased with the service and that gratuity is something given voluntarily or beyond obligation. He told me that he does not pay his delivery people and then hung up on me.\r

A year later, we decided to give them another try. I ordered lunch for my team at work. Joe Momma's has ""Free Delivery"" stamped on their menu and this time, we tipped $5 to the delivery person. When our food arrived, the charge to the debit card was $5.62 over what it should have been. I called and spoke with Joanne who told me that Chris, the owner had decided to add that to our bill as he remembered our conversation last year.\r
\r
I asked that they remove the delivery charge as I have a menu with Free Delivery written on it and Joanne said that would not be a problem. Then, as we all began eating our meal, we found that of 5 sandwiches, 4 were made incorrectly. My co-worker contacted Joe Momma's again and this time, she spoke with Chris Mayer who asked if we were in the “business of asking for refunds”. She had not asked for a refund and was merely trying to get what she ordered corrected and sent back to us and after she told him so, he told her that the food was correct and hung up on her. \r

I called, the final time, and spoke again with Joanne again. I told her that I would be contacting you, as well as providing them a poor review on Yahoo and that I expected the $5.62 incorrect delivery charge be refunded immediately. She promised that this would happen.\r
\r
I am not a complaining person and I do not ask for refunds without cause. My issue is not with mistakes made to the food or even poor delivery service. My issue is with the owner of a business treating the people who are keeping him open and spending what these days is very hard-earned and hard to come by money with disdain. My issue is with that owner adding charges to a bill without notice and not assisting the people who spent their money when the order is wrong.\r
