This boutique is wonderful! Joann Smyth is full of treasures all of which you'll want to try on. My favorite pieces are the colorful precious stones and especially the pearls. She also offers custom design services and sources her stones from around the world ensuring that no two pieces are alike. Pros: Relaxing ambience and wonderful service. Cons: You'll want to buy everything in the shop!! more

Great jewelry, great customer servcie, a real gem! 7/24/2007

Joann Smyth on Melrose Place is such a great jewelry store! The owner is very knowledgable, friendly, and super helpful, not to mention the mom to an amazing Scottie named MacDougall, who is always keeping watch over the store. They do full repair, reworking, and custom design if you want to create something from scratch. My friends and I have bought many things from Joann Smyth and continue to be impressed with the selection and the reasonable prices. A definite MUST for all your jewelry needs!! Pros: Great selection, super friendly staff Cons: Parking is a pain but there IS valet!! more
