I have just completed a course of therapy with Ms. Arnold. I am so pleased with my treatment from beginning to end. Joanie was able to hone in on my issues and warmly and compassionately help me to understand the root of them. After we were able to do that, I was able with her help to find other ways to live my life and other ways of behaving with people. I feel like a changed person and my life is much happier. I am also equipped with many more tools for living a successful life. more

Joanie helped get my life back on track 6/3/2011

I can't recommend Joanie more highly. I never bother to write these things, but I feel I owe Joanie a great debt. After seeing three other therapists, I was frustrated and ready to give up on ever having a normal life and being happy. Joanie was the only one who really got to my deep down core issues that were holding me back for decades. She showed compassion and understanding in gently guiding me to realize what was going on inside me. She then helped me find my own path to healing and, ultimately, happiness. It took a lot of work of course, but Joanie supported me all the way. Five stars are not enough... I would throw in the moon if I could. :) more

Joanie is amazing! 11/25/2010

A life saver! I agree with ""HR consultant"". Joanie Arnold was the most supportive and non-judgemental therapist I have had in many years of therapy in and around NY. She got me through one of the toughest times of my life, and I wouldn't be here now if I hadn't been referred to her by a trusted friend. I owe her far more than what I paid her for the therapy. I have already recommended her to my friends going through tough times. more

A Great Therapist 11/24/2010

Joanie is a very talented therapist who has helped me learn many things about myself and make positive changes in my life. She's very popular and has many clients, but has always done her best to accommodate my schedule. I don't know what problem ""anglzkissed"" has, but any therapist has clients who make unreasonable demands, are slow to pay or don't pay, etc. I would highly recommend Joanie to anyone. more

Worst Personal Service 8/28/2008

I have been in therapy long enough to know when I am getting great service from a therapist and when I am just getting the brush off. Joanie Arnold is more concerned with her personal life and getting paid than with her patients care and overall well being. If there was an AMA for therapists (and who knows there may be) she would be surely on top of my list of people to report to that agency. Buyer STEAR CLEAR more
