I needed a pair of good scissors for a project I was working on. Swung by this location on my drive and nabbed a set. Good scissor options. Nice store in general. Less crazy and white trash feeling then the one closest to me. more

I love going to this store even if it's a bit more expensive than other craft stores because I know I'll find what I'm looking for, and if I don't, I know I'll find something comparable or better. The aisles have ample space between them and items are always neatly arranged. It would be nice if the store had a bit more fabric (they have a lot of prints, I noticed)... but it could also be that most of the solids are at the cutting counter. This is the largest Jo-Ann I've seen and I'll drive the 20 miles to go to this location because I know I'll find what I need. This location has an inhouse picture framing shop and I've gotten beautiful results when I've had things framed here (wait for a sale or use a coupon; it's not cheap). Selection of nearly everything is great: silk flowers/plants, baskets, arts & craft supplies, decor, seasonal goods, trims, etc.. I love their home decorator fabrics; the selection is HUGE and quality is great. I think their selection of apprel fabrics is relatively small in comparison to the quilt fabrics and everything else they offer. They also have a sewing machine center and offer arts and crafts classes. The large location makes it very comfortably to browse and shop. Sign up on their mailing list and get 40% off coupons on a regular basis and 50% off custom framing; it's worth it. I recommend making a list of what you need before you go; you could get lost in the browsing experience and forget to buy what you came for!
