Rude customer service 3/28/2007

This is a good fabric store but I was looking for a specific color of fabric and was not able to find it. I asked help from the staff. Chewing gum, she showed me an aisle and told me to look it myself and went away leaving me to the mercy of other employees who also showed a nocare attitude. I did not like their behavior and found it to be very rude. They get 2 stars for their collection of fabrics. more

Jo Ann offers a fairly wide range of fabrics including upholstery fabric, vinyls, blackout fabric and other odd types of fabric. Their selection of cross stitch items is OK. \r \r The best time to stock up on sewing machines needles, threads and patterns is during one of their frequents sales. The notions are often put on sale for 50% off and patterns will be offered for $1.99 during their sales. \r \r Get on their mailing list to receive advanced notice of their sales. PROS: Good sales. Everything you would need for sewing is here. But I didn't realize that the store also carries lots of other craftsy things besides, and is also a great place to get gifsts for kids. I just got a kids' folding table and chairs and easel there! more
