Horrible Store 12/28/2009

I've given this store way too many chances. I'll never go there again. The store is over stocked with bad selection. The sales girls act as if they are doing you the worlds biggest favor by cutting your fabric. The prices are fair but not excellent. There are 3 other Joanns within 5 miles this one is off limits!!! Great Place to find small craft items in a hurry 9/14/2009

Even though it is a small store, which is the reason there is not a huge inventory you can still find all the basic items you need, when you dont want to go to a big store(like MIchaels) if i need huge inventory then i would go to Jo-Anns on baldwin ave. wich is huge. Pros: lots of parking, great staff, and lots of discounts Cons: small store more

Pathetic fabric selection 3/12/2006

In fact, they will probably be out of what ever it is you came to buy--the stock is always low, messy and hard to find.\r AND the staff doesn't know fabrics, so don't ask them any questions, they'll give you the wrong answers.\r WHY does JoAnn's let this store get so bad???? They would do alot more fabric business if they only tried. PROS: parking and discounts on patterns CONS: low stock, messy store more

Gave it 3 chances, it's OUT! 12/19/2005

Moved from Orange Co. 2004, really miss JoAnn's on Harbor/Costa Mesa. That store is well lighted, clean, well-stocked, huuuuge variety of items, staff friendly, always knowledgeable. Now enter Lake St. World o' Depression. I've tried to shop Lake St. 3 times, but only thing improved is lighting-not necessarily a good thing, clearly filthy. Messy, poorly stocked, poorly staffed, uninformed. ""I dunno"" Could you check for me, please? ""Not really"" All 3 times I left purchases at register b'cus no one was available to check us out. Went to Michaels. AGAIN. Pros: Great Coupons!, Holiday Hours Cons: Not much to buy, No staff at register more

come here for all your sewing needs 7/22/2005

need fabric? jo ann's has whatever material you need, along with pattern books and sewing accessories. whether you're a beginner or seasoned sewer, they will help you with whatever you're looking for. also for crafts, you'll find a variety of stickers, stamps, paper, glue guns, etc. it's not as good as michael's, which has EVERYTHING imaginable, but it's still a great craft store. more

This is a good store for buying sewing products, fabric, and other crafting goods. I usually shop for yarn for knitting and crocheting, and I've been disappointed in their selection. The store always seems a little bit unkempt. They seem to have a good selection of fabrics and sewing products, and the employees are always very friendly. more
