I found comics(back issues) there I had been looking for all over, & couldnt find. I read the reviews here before going in, and was totally ready to put up w/a crazy jerk owner. What i found is that he's not. He may be a bit short w/you, but he helped me find everything i needed, plus he will order/get you anything you want. So, all in all, I liked it. decent prices, huge selection. The owner isnt That bad. . .but he isnt gonna hold your hand. :) more

I totally dug how i found some vintage boba fett action figures. they had some rad old school star wars stuff, out of the box and some circa 90's sealed figures. i dig places that sell ""Clerks"" and Kevin Smith works/product, so points for that. I'm not going to lie, i was absolutely impressed with this place as far as uniqueness in comics and action figures go. the thing which kills it for me is the owner. one reviewer mentioned that he yells out at the TV, dude...TOTALLY true. i'm like, why the hell is he continuing to talk? uhmm, super condescending, rude, and i didnt feel welcomed. like, he will help you out with w/e you need, but wow, he's kinda a punk. conclusion: if you can handle a rude guy shouting at the tv and making lame comments about you, you'll find some pretty chill stuff there. p.s. bring a friend so he wont just pick on/bother you. ;-D Pros: vintage star wars stuff...star wars stuff, CLERKS stuff Cons: the owner... more

When my nephew called me and ask if he can get a certain comic and some magazine i didn't expect anyone to have it so i try to go to over 5 store all over OC and no one has it so i decide to check online i saw J N J comics when i called him he actually help me fand look and when i went to his store the customer service is awesome and his one chill person i have ever meet his so friendly and he actually spend time to talk and answer all the question you have and don't forget the selection he has everything in stock and if his out he can get it soon ... so i recommend his store to everyone .. and rate this store 5 star Pros: double thumbs up,customer service is 5 star and easy acces to the parking and location easy to find more

I agree with the second review. Rude Rude Rude. With so many comic book stores in the area I don't know why anyone would support this guy. more

I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about - the guy working there (the owner?) has a lousy attitude. He was totally rude and hardly encouraged this reviewer to ever return. The back issues were good, but his patter and jabber were not. He sits on his duff shouting at the teevee - wonderful stuff to listen to. Really shrewd political analysis. I have driven all over Orange County, checking out various comic book stores. JNJ Comics has a huge selection of back issues, as well as numerous copies of current issues. The staff is very knowledgeable about comic book collecting. JNJ Comics has a policy of treating customers as if they want you back - which is their philosophy when buying your comics.
