This is our favorite Sushi/Japanese restaurant in our area. The sushi are delicious and fresh. The service is great and very attentive. Our hot tea is always refilled immediately....

oishii! or should I say... mashinnun 4/16/2006

This place is pretty good. The decor is nice as well. Unfortunately, it's another one of those non-Japanese owned sushi places, but if this does not bother you, then I can whole-heartedly recommend it. There is nothing special or unique about it separating Jiro from the plethora of sushi places out there, however. BTW, the first word in the title is Japanese for delicious, while the last one is in the language of the owners of this place. more

Jiro's sushi is delicious, but however, their rolls are very expensive are not that filling. The service is also incredibly slow for my taste. Plus, you can literally see the workers slacking off while you're sitting their starving. There are definitely other restaurants exponentially better than this. But, I'd have to say that this is the best japanese restaurant within Union City. more

Japanese Food 8/4/2005

If you want great tasting Japanese food for hardly nothing check this place out. They give large portions which will always be brought home. The restaurant is large enough to have a party if you want. They also have karaoke night. So have dinner with friends while singing to a favorite song! Their teriyaki chicken is also one of my favorite's because I haven't yet gotten fry chicken. more
