my family has been coming here for at least 60 years...my mom went when they still had booths inside you could sit in in the 50's...they always had the best hotdogs!!! But my mom ordered the hotsauce to send to my brother who lives in Florida, and when he opened it, it was moldy...he was sooo dissapointed... more

Many year ago, friends of min (and myself) would frequent Jim's, it was the best! Hot dogs, ham BBG were awesome! went back years later, it was good, but the sauce changed. Still very good. What a memory from a hot dog! But not the same. more

My family will never eat here again. We are locals & USED to eat there every couple wks. Quality has gone way down. This evening I picked up a jar of Jim's sauce. Got it home & realized it was FULL of mold. You could literally see white mold in the top 1.5 to 2" of the jar w/o even taking the lid off. So thinking they might not believe me when it was convenient to go back, I took it right back and the guy (before I even said anything) starts to reach under the counter and says 'yeah some of them are bad'! So they knew some of them were bad but sold it to me anyhow. He tells me he will tell his manager (after I made a couple more comments) but refuses so much as to offer me a replacement jar for free or anything. Maybe the guy really didn't have the 'authority' but it is ridiculous they don't have anyone that could address a customer service issue that extreme. This isn't the first time we have been disappointed either. I almost feel bad leaving this (because they are a local mom & pop) but they didn't care about our experience, my having to spend gas/time coming back to return it so oh well... These hot dogs are the BEST!!! Moved out of state many years ago, but when back in the area Jim's is a must to visit. I just wish I could order the sauce to be shipped back to Michigan...... more

the best sauce and onion dog in the world so good even Hinze almost bought it but Jim's turned it down more

When we come back to my home town, we visit our grandchildren, go to Kennywood, and always stop at Jim's. We also buy extra sauce so we can bring it back to New York and enjoy Jims sauce until we make it back for more. more

Jim's Drive-In on Skyline Drive in Pennsylvania is the best. They are known throughout the entire South. They are known for their french fries and hot dogs, most notable their hot dogs. I love them a lot. Their hot dogs have a "secret sauce" you can get extras of, and believe me, you'll want to. It's the best sauce I have ever tasted. Forget the mustard and ketchup! I even buy the secret sauce so I can have it until I go back to PA and buy some more. It's so good. The prices are great, and the service is great. Everything is great about Jim's! more

My husband and I have been going to Jims Drive In for 26 years now and when we are not in Pennsylvania for a visit, My family gets about a gallon of the sauce and brings it to me in Alabama so that I can make my own Jims type dogs. For the record....I don't know what is in the secret sauce but it can be frozen and microwaved for use in your home. I freeze it in little containers so that I am not wasteful on my sauce stash. Jims is the BEST hotdogs with sauce, onions and cheese. My mouth is watering for one right now but unfortunately I am 800 miles away from one. This place is a little drive-up-to place that you go to the window, place your order and in a few minutes you have a tasty hotdog treat. You can't just order one...you gotta do two or more at a time..Fries....who cares about fries when you can eat an extra dog. ANOTHER...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE IN MY OPINION more
