Beer Burgers and Sports! What more do you need? 2/16/2011

The food is exceptional. I prefer beer on tap, and Jimmy's Burger Joint has a group of very tasty beers. I really like fried food, but I never get to eat it...I always get french fries here. Everyone is friendly who work there. I'd go back. more

Best place to watch sports and eat great food! 2/11/2011

This place is fantastic. I have watched all the big games here from the Super Bowl to the World Series and the World Cup soccer games. The food taste so good here. The Burgers are first class and the fries, onion rings and calamari are also the unbeatable. Its a great atmosphere with tons of TVs, sports memorabilia and great service. You should definitely try this place, especially with NCAA March Madness Basketball coming up. This is the place! more

Great Food, Great Atmosphere! 2/11/2011

I LOVE this place! The food is excellent! Everything I have tried has been delicious. My favorites are the calamari, the sliders and the fries. The calamari is unique and delicious not like any other clamari I have had at other restaurants. It is a great place to go and watch games no matter what sports you are into. The staff is friendly and the owner is friendly and personable. If you haven't been here, you don't know what you're missing! more

Tasty burgers, new look! 7/13/2010

I just moved around the corner and decided to try this small burger joint out, i noticed right away they have red trolley pale ale on tap...and being from northern cali i am a big time ale drinker!!! ive been here over half dozen times- the burgers are tasty (more on the med RARE side though) and for the price i would assume fries would be included, NOPE...I def would have gone to a red robin if it was closer because you get the same burger with unlimited fries...that way you can spen more money on beer! They use to have a reg hamburger small fry and drink combo on the menu but since the new ownership took over the menu has changed...drink prices were lowered but food prices have gone up...they also changed the tables and chairs around. all in all its a great place to go for a beer and sweet potato fries! Pros: sweet potato fries are amazing!! Cons: no fries with your $10 burger more

A great place for a burger 12/8/2009

Jimmy's Burger has amazing hamburgers!! There are plenty of burger options to choose from. The secret sauce on the burger is the way to go. The happy hour has great deals on their drinks and tons of televisions to watch the games. This is the only burger joint in Costa Mesa I know about that is open until 3am. more

Not Impressed! 11/20/2009

The burgers were ok but not for the price or service that came with it! I believe for $10 a burger service should be good, the amount you get should equal what you pay and not be served cold. Especially in today's economy! Looks can be deceiving! Cons: Service and Prices more

i love love love this place. i cant believe my eyes about what people have to say thats negetive. iv been there twice a week since they opened in november and not had one bad experince. these negetive people must just have horrible lives sorry to say. nothing beats an iced cold beer w mouth watering burger. sorry tk burger but ur out!!! also i love going there to watch the games on their huge hd plasmas it very homey! more

Best Deal on a Meal 2/5/2009

This place has a really good happy hour. Go from 2 to five and you can get half off really good starters and pitchers of beer for cheap, its like thier giving the food away. The quality of food here is amazing for the price. Theres a Kobe beef burger for only 11 dollars and it totally rocks! Pros: OPen late! more

Really Big Burger 2/5/2009

Jimm'y Burger Joint serves what I consider to be the best burger I've had since moving to Southern California. The burger is perfectly cooked and very juicy, and the menu has so many de-lish choices! Out of all the burgers I'm most obsessed with the Jimmy Burger... it has jalapenos. I definatly recomend going here for game night...the beer is super cold, good food and flat screen tvs. Pros: Really fun place, open late (like until 2 and sometimes 3 in the morning) more
