One of the most ecclectic, creative restaurants in our area, the Jewish Mother, located near the beachfront, is a wonderful place to go hang out, have a good meal, hear live music, and enjoy yourself. The food was great, the menu was very in-depth and funny, and the desserts were huge, and tasty. A++ more

Great food and Menu 8/20/2005

The Jewish Mother has so many different foods it is hard to tell you what it is. Of course, being true to it's name, it has a full line of Kosher foods. They serve quiches daily and they have some of the best sandwiches you will get anywhere. There is a full bar and plenty of varieties of beer. That is another of their signature as they have beers there that you can't get just anywhere. Plus, their bakery is to die for. This is one place you have to save room for desert. When you first walk in, you will see a case of fresh baked desserts on your left. And honestly, it is a large assortment. They have a night atmosphere too with bands and poetry on particular nights. This is a fun place to be. more
