I knew Tod, the owner, years ago and I wish I could recommend The Jewel Box, but of the 6 jobs I've brought to them in the past couple of years, they've somehow seriously botched 3. 50% is not good enough. In addition, during the most recent screw-up, I was made to feel that if I wasn't there to spend thousands on a wedding set I was wasting their time. When you're working face to face with them they couldn't be nicer, but the minute I left something with them I experienced abysmal customer service and a remarkable lack of follow-through and communication. In addition, their rates for some services are unusually high. I doubt I'll ever go back to them.\r

To Yvonne or ""WhyHom"" who says ""FYI... It is interesting to me that LLT has trashed the Jewel Box in so many places . I was curious as to why someone would take them 6 jobs if they kept messing up. Then, I looked at other websites and saw that she has trashed them all over the Internet. The huge majority of other reviews about them say they are fabulous. Sounds like a competitor to me"" --- nope, I'm not a competitor nor in any way in the business, just a disappointed customer. I wanted to love them, that?s why I?m so disappointed. I brought them 3 jobs at one time and there was a problem with one. It was frustrating but they apologized and resolved the issue to my satisfaction. About a year later I brought them 3 more jobs at the same time and this time there were significant problems with 2 of the 3. In my case with relatively small jobs that were only going to bring in hundreds vs. thousands of dollars, I experienced significant screw-ups and poor service 50% of the time. I personally refer to two websites regularly to see what people are saying about various retailers and restaurants and I posted my honest personal experience with this retailer on those same two sites. If that qualifies as ""trashed them all over the internet"" then I guess I'm guilty. I stand by my review.
