Jessica is a complete sweetheart - she means well, is personable and I'm sure more times than not, does a great job cutting & coloring hair. She sorely lacks when it comes to communication of process though. Aside from the emails that I sent, with photos of exactly what my hair used to look like and my expectations, we did not talk about it - I mistakingly assumed we were on the same page from the email correspondence. (I found her through a friend's recommendation to Salon D and her reviews on Citysearch) I just moved to Dallas from southern California and now more than anything, I miss my awesome stylist out there!! When I got to Dallas, I looked and felt like a sassy, sexi single & successful professional. Now.. my hair makes me feel like a busy corporate mom-ish type with no time for flirting. I gave my new hair the benefit of a week to get used to it, but it just looks bad. The cut is not easy to style, it does not lay naturally & if I run my fingers through it, it sits weird. All things an expert stylist can overcome with a round brush, dryer, clips and a better angle over my crown... but DOESN'T do me any good. My only consolation is that this stagnant hair style will eventually grow out... in 3 months... :(
Pros: Plenty of parking & nice people
Cons: It's a salon - what is ever done to rectify a bad cut?
