Could be friendlier! 1/19/2014

I thought maybe after they moved, they would be friendlier. Every time I walk in NO one says 'hello'; however, I do notice they speak to customers who are obviously frequent buyers or friends. I have purchased from them but, apparently, not enough to warrant a nice greeting! They do have lovely yarns but I want to feel good about my pricey shopping experience. more

Chock full of yarn 1/8/2013

Great Store! 8/15/2012

I believe management has changed since the previous reviews. I am an out of towner and stopped in on a Thursday evening. Everyone - and I mean everyone was very friendly and helpful! I will definitely be going back. more

Customer service issues 12/12/2010

They have lovely products, however I agree with many of the other reviews. She is rude, and truly needs customer service training. nShe wont be in business very long if she continues to treat GOOD or even new customers the way she does. I'll shop with the competition from now on! more

extremely rude! 12/12/2010

Jessica's may have nice yarn, but she is the rudest business owner I have ever come in contact with. I would say stay far away from this store. You can buy nice yarns someplace else and also have helpful staff. I will never go back and will spread the word! more

Beautiful Yarn, Zero Service 3/29/2007

Jessica may knit but she won't be in business long if her attitude toward customers doesn't change. Went there twice a week apart while visiting Phoenix. First trip, weekday midafternoon found the store closed with a note on the door. I honestly wondered if the business was still operating. Second time, arrived 15 minutes before store opened and even though she saw me standing outside in the rain, she wouldn't unlock the door. I was on a tight time schedule and had a limited amount of time and an unlimited amount of money to invest in yarn so I was literally window-shopping...and wishing I was warm and dry. Jessica -- I would have browsed quietly and spent twice as much money if you had just opened the door! Giving her a third chance, after running short of yarn (my fault) I had to call the shop from Minnesota to buy more. That was 12 days ago, she's had my money for a week and still no yarn. I guess I should have just bought the stuff on eBay! The most positive thing I can say is that there is a wide and varied selection although very little of it is priced. She does have an employee who's very outgoing, helpful and full of good advice (she's the one from Chandles). But as for Jessica, just because you can knit doesn't mean you should open a shop. Next trip, you'll find me at The Fiber Factory (Mesa) or Arizona Knitting (Old Towne Scottsdale). For anyone reading this, it's a long drive to get there...call first to make sure they're open and still in business. more

Jessica Knits Update 3/29/2007

Day 13 ... no return phone call from Jessica Knits about the status of my order. What business can survive, yet alone profit, by ignoring customers? more

Yummy Yarns at Jessica Knits! 9/7/2006

After a beautifully scenic drive to north Scottsdale, AZ, I stopped by a yarn shop that I found in the yellow pages called Jessica Knits. Maybe because I had two other knitting/crochet fans in the car who were chit chatting away, I somehow missed the intersection twice! But after a couple extra turns here and there, we finally found Jessica Knits. This place was so yummy! Yarns all over the place - and oh my! There were some purse kits that were so beautiful!!! I really liked how the shop was so organized, but with a home like feel. They had books in baskets as well as in shelves on the wall... knitting needles in vases with decorative ribbons and such inside to give it a bit of extra glamor. :-) Their sitting area was like a small living room with soft and cushy couches and chairs. That was when I found their buttons! They had the most adorable kids buttons that I've seen in a long time. They had such a nice selection - perfect for adding that little decoration to my son's shirts. For me, it was quite a drive and I probably cannot make it too often, but it was so worth it and I definitely want to do it again. You can get a good feel of the shop just by taking a look at their website: http://www.jessicaknits.com/index.htm more
