We had a pool pump that was not working. The tech came out to diagnose the motor issue. He did some testing and determined it was a bad capacitor. A month later I get a call from the tech saying that the new part is not working and advised me to take the motor in to get tested. \r Isn?t this what I am paying you guys for? To diagnose and repair the motor issue? When you first arrived, you should have just told me to take the motor to someone who can actually test it and fix it, instead of charging me while you misdiagnosed it. I then get a bill for $172.08!\r I feel very ripped off and thus compelled to tell my story. more

Not what they used to be... 7/7/2008

Jess seems to be suffering the same pitfalls as many older companies, in that they?re way too complacent with their business. We?ve used them for two separate jobs, and have found that the current electricians lack the critical thinking skills Jess has been known for in the past. For example, we wanted them to update our kitchen so the microwave wouldn?t trip the circuit. Instead of checking the electrical configuration, they switched our fridge over to a new circuit, but the microwave wasn?t even on the same circuit as the fridge. Pros: If they could actually get their act together, they might be decent. Cons: They can?t get their act together. more
