Great food, great value 5/10/2010

the food was tasty and decently priced. we were personally welcomed by the owner, and we got attentive (though a bit slow) service. we had the artichoke parmesan dip, shepherd's pie, and the mushroom/onion quiche. the pie was best, but all were very good. great music and coffee, with a robust wine list. we'll be coming back for sure! more

GREAT!!! 5/6/2010

Jerzy's is the best little find I have been to in Redmond in a very long time! GREAT happy hour from 5-7, yes until 7pm!!! They have awesome 5.00 pours and 5.00 bites that are DELICIOUS! Where can you get any better? Dinner looks excellent too, can't wait to try it out. And did I mention that they have 8.95 lunch combos? Noticed that on the menu, you get an entree and soup or salad for only 8.95 between 11 and 4. I inquired about timing for lunch breaks and the waitress informed me that you can call ahead and order as well so you don't hit a time restraint. They have live performers every weekend from 7-10pm, found out we can check out the offering beforehand at their website. Also noticed that they have some great wine pairings and even specialized flights from different regions. Can't wait to check one of those out! The owners are new, local, and super friendly. Nowhere else will the owners come chat with you! Our service was top notch as well. Picked out some tasty wines for us too, since we are clueless. But she knew exactly what we wanted! So excited that I re-discovered all of the greatness that Jerzy's has now! It's about time someone did this place right, and David and Irene(new owners) really have it down pat! Great place with really tasty food with very warm service 3/5/2010

We were welcomed by a welcoming staff. We were a bit hesitant to eat because the menu had a very little vegetarian choices so we told the hostess that we would like to have something vegetarian and she offered us to make their famed Croque Monsieur with veggies like mushroom & spinach instaed of ham. It was blissfully tasty. The portion size was also big enough for 2 people to share. We also ordered a salad to go with it and it was very nice too. Overall I thought that this was a really good restaurant and tasty food and exceptional service. I would definitely go there again. Pros: Very tasty food especially Croque Monsieur more

One of the better places in Redmond 2/10/2010

Decided to go here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The shepherd's pie and butternut soup were authentic and worth the visit alone. The (chocolate) desert crepe was an excellent end to the meal. I gave 4 stars because I felt the menu could be expanded a little. I see a lot of potential to this relatively new restaurant and it's definitely worth checking out! Pros: Great food, service and atmosphere Cons: Could use more menu selections. more

Grand Re-opening 11/25/2009

Visiting Jerzy""s for the first time last evening was truly an unexpected great time! In todays economy it is a treasure to find a local like Jerzy""s in our back yard! The Prices, Presentation, Staff, and Flavor were fantastic. I had one of the best evenings out in quite awhile. You owe it to yourself to give this gem a try, you will not be let down. BRAVO! Great Wines/Beer, Fabulous Ambiance, and Exceptional Service!! LOVED it!! 9/9/2008

jerzy's ambiance is astounding. they have managed to create a beautiful, intimate setting where everyone seems to always be happy and enjoying themselves. its difficult to capture in words, but worth visiting just for the experience in and of itself! they have a very nice wine list, and the servers seem to be very knowledgeable about the choices.you can really tell that they love their job and the establishment in which they work, which is so refreshing!! in terms of the menu, the food was very nicely presented and delicious too! it is the perfect size: not too large, and offering a nice selection of antipasti and tapas that pair wonderfully with their wines! my friend and i are quite the beer fans as well, so we were SUPER excited to see their selection! they don't serve any American brews, but instead have a large selection of Eastern European beers which we were very pleasantly surprised to somewhere other than a specialty shop! i highly recommend jerzy's wine bar to anyone looking for great wine, delicious food, and genuine service, in an environment unlike any other on the eastside! also, they have live bellydancing every friday night at 10pm- so fun and unique!! Quaint, romantic, cozy 3/19/2008

We visited this quaint, cozy, romantic wine bar tonight for the first time. What a delightful find! It's small and it wasn't too busy around 6 pm on a Wed night. Lyle was the bartender/waiter and he was very attentive, but not hovering. They had a nice selection of red and white wines by the glass, as well as an expensive selection of delectable bottles which also decorate the walls and shelves. We had bruschetta and caprese for appetizers, and then topped it off with the "Snickerdoodle crepe". Yum! The crepe was fantastic and we paired it with the Muscato D'Asti- a bubbly dessert wine. They do have happy hour, though it wasn't advertised on the menu... so be sure to ask. They also have a wide selection of internation beers (no Coors, Bud or Michelob here folks) and they all sounded fantastic; we decided we'll come back on a warm sunny day and sit outside to sample these. On the 2nd and 4th Friday they have live belly dancing and Saturdays they have a blues guitarist. Definitely give this place a try if you just want to chill out. with someone special or just two gal-pals who want to catch up. Pros: ambience, service, food, wine selection more
