This is a fun place to eat. i especially recommend the back room. There are low tables and pillows to recline on while the well prepared food is brought to you around the belly dancer [if you are lucky enough to be there on the night that one is around] The owner greats you at the door and asks if every thing is satisfactory on your way out. this kind of holistic meal experience is rare. And that dedication by the owner is a good sign that care is taken in the meal and in the business. I say 'Great' more

Enjoyed a perfectly prepared salmon steak with apricot chutney, saffron rice, and crisp grilled vegetables. This restaurant offered friendly, attentive service, excellent food, live music and belly dancing, traditional floor seating with pillows, and a great location for sitting on the street and people watching in beautiful downtown Asheville. Loved it! more
