TWICE in a row...first time it was Twarog farmer's cheese that was no good, second time apple cake by Grand Bakery that got covered in mold the next morning...I have always shopped here for price, but now can see that those GREAT prices often come at the expense of quality. more

The more people buying, the faster the change of produce, the fresher the produce. And they are always putting out new product and cleaning. I love the store. The crowds are there for the best reason- they want great food and good prices, just like me! more

I love it! We eat MEGA fruits and veggies and Jerry's provides that. It is very reasonably priced. Yes, it is always a challenge shopping there, especially, the first isle. If you get past the first isle alive, you have succeeded. The quality is excellent, so, in my book, it is worth the hassle. more

So what if it is crowded, it meanas the fruit and veggies are fresher, more sold more new put out to buy. They have black olives for 99 cents a can, and large jars of capers for $3 ( Jewel's capers are $3 for a tiny jar), and there fruits and veggies are fresh! I love this store. Go early or late if you don;t like th crowds. They are open at 8:30am - 9:00 pm. more

...the store is crowded, the aisles are narrow, tempers are short, kids run around, many staff members cannot speak English to answer questions, the parking lot is crowded, check out lines are long and you will be bumped around. Try to get their just when they open or within an hour or so of closing. more

Jerry's was always the place for myself and my brother to buy our pumpkins every year for Halloween. It was like some plane dropped huge cargo-loads of pumpkins in the parking lot of this place. Once inside, well, you found yourself completely surrounded by more fruit and vegetables than you could ever imagine. The fun part was trying to find all of the various exotic fruits (what is Star Fruit anyway?). This place is a little nutty. The traffic alone will drive you about crazy as people fight over spaces. Inside, you will find the place crowded. Personally, I would rather fight my way through Caputo's, but Jerry's sheer size means you will probably find the fresh produce you are looking for no matter how exotic. They used to have great prices on milk here too, but I don't know if that's the case anymore. I don't think any place does anymore. more

Do you LOVE to be harassed? Do you ENJOY being pushed, shoved with a shopping cart and have fruit fall on your head because some annoying bi*otch was in such a hurry she had to shove her body in front of yours to get to those bananas? Do you want to see a Woodstock type parking lot frenzy on a Saturday afternoon? Well, this is the place to be!! I agree with Robert. The people here definitely need to take some type of chill pills. The produce store itself is good, and some of the bargains you get on fresh produce ALMOST make it worth tolerating rude behavior from patrons. Jerrys is a nice place to get deals, some prices are beyond low, but the rest of the store is just okay. However, the next time I go, I'll wear my shield and armor! more

Do they sell "chill pills" here? No they don't, but so many folks especially seniors have their own perscribed legal "chill pills" thats why I don't understand why they act like animals over this produce store. Yes, it is a good store with sales on produce and grocery items, but come on give me a break. The couple of times I have been here I was impressed with the sale prices but I don't like going here and don't anymore because it brings in "barbarian type" people. Ironiocally alot of them are seniors. What they have never saved money before in their whole life? I can't blame the store for this. I give the store 4 stars, but one star because I don't like the vibe. The fair rating would be a three. Are there stores like this in every town? I'm sure everybody has stories. Whenever I am in this area, I always try to stop in at Jerry's fruit market. This place is really unbelievable. It has the best prices I have seen in the area for fresh fruits and vegetables. Their selection of fruits and vegetables is extensive and everything is always fresh. They also carry a variety of baked goods, frozen goods, canned and dry foods, and dairy products. Make sure to check out their special of the week; it truly is special! This market is always busy, but the service is fast and you can be in and out fairly quickly. more

If you like to eat lots of fruits and vegetables, then Jerry's is a good place to go. It has the usual fruits and vegetables that the grocery stores carry, but it also has some of the more unusual types as well. The prices are very reasonable, and they always have some weekly specials where you have no choice but to buy them!! Some of the fruits or vegetables are pre-packaged, but most of the time you can pick your own and bag them. Jerry's also sells milk, eggs, cheese and other dairy, as well as some fresh breads and rolls. They also sell soda and snacks as well. There is a parking lot (which they share with McDonald's), but it's hard to find a parking space near the store entrance. more

Friends and family have frequented this supermarket for years and always recommend it for their great assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables. They're great to go to when a certain fruit is in season because they will discount the fruit at the time when it's most in demand. This place is an absolute bargain for high volume purchases and the produce is always of the highest quality. more

This is a local neighborhood produce store. They have a wide selection of fruits, veggies, meats, breads and common grocery items. Their produce is fresh and the prices are better than a chain grocery store. They also have hard to find produce items and a few ethnic grocery items as well. more
