The place hasn't changed (thank goodness) in the 46 years I've been going there. And I'm only 47. The same smells (think Bay Rum and hair tonic), the same music (easy listening), ...

Best barber shop this side of Floyd's! 7/30/2007

The place hasn't changed (thank goodness) in the 46 years I've been going there. And I'm only 47. The same smells (think Bay Rum and hair tonic), the same music (easy listening), the same television shows (sports, just newer players) and the same great haircuts at prices not much higher than they were in 1961. A very pleasant step back in time. more

Barber Shop in Wilmette 8/19/2005

I found this place by accident, but I’ve been back when I’ve been in the area. It’s a pretty large barber shop, with many chairs. I’ve never had to wait too long for a hair cut, and I’ve been happy with all of the cuts I’ve gotten. The staff can be sort of quiet, but there’s a tv so you won’t get bored. more
