Family came to eat at Jeremiah, only heard good things about this place. Came in. Told since it's busy and Memorial holiday, our wait was 20-30 min. Finally got a table. Waited for the waitress, placed our order, took over an hour to service us, and told that the kitchen was a bit slow and, there was just a busy crowd. My mother had ordered ""Clam Chowder"" soup, after the long wait, and five restless, hungry kids, our meals came, after about a good hour and half wait. Then, we brought to the waitress attention, my mother had not received the clam chowder soup she ordered, the waitress went to check, came back a few moments later to tell us, there was no clam chowder, but the cook could make a tomato soup,in place. But...Could this waitress had let us know before hand, like before she delivered our food, that way my mother could decide if she would like something else. So, she ate warm scones, my daughter had ordered... Really??? Very sad, even if a very busy establishment, on a holiday, it would have been a little better to at least take notice, even on one small simple thing. My family left, not too happy and don't think we will return. more

My son and I went to the restaurant and they were busy. We asked the hostess how long the wait would be and she said that it would be only 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, I complained about the difference between 15 minutes and 5 minutes and was seated in less than a minute. After being seated we received no service for another 15 minutes, not even a glass of water and a 'hey, we're super busy, here's a snack to hold you over until we get to you. After 30 minutes, we left, lied to, not served and still hungry. Don't bother going. There are other restaurants on the same street that don't lie to their guests and that don't ignore them. more

Had thanksgiving dinner there today and it was horrible. From the so called fruit salad with a couple of apples and drowned in mayo then the vegetable platter that had carrots, black olives and some terrible little pickles. The turkey had that been warmed up stale taste, gravy was very bland, the green bean dish was disgusting I could not even eat, hoping for some pie to save the day and another major disappointment, apple pie was way over seasoned with cinnamon and the pumpkin was no better. Worst meal I have ever endured. It's two hours later and I still have a nasty after taste and nauseated. What a horrible experience!!! more

My husband and I were on Vacation and had traveled through Wy, Utah, and Idaho mainly. We stayed at The Best Western Hotel and decided to eat at Jeremiah's. Well we had several meals there and ended up staying an extra day in Idaho, which meant a few more meals at Jermiah's. The food was outstanding Breakfast ,Lunch & Dinner. Very consistent!! Also the ambience of the restaurant tells a story of the History of skiing from 1930 at least. Beautifully decorated ,you are transported to a very comfortable and relaxed, enjoyable experience . YUM! 12/1/2008

Jeremiah's has the best breakfast I have ever had!! It is far beyond ihop, dennys, or any similar breakfast diner. It is located near the highway, so you do see a couple truckers and traveler types. The decor is very ""Utah themed"" focusing around the skiing and log cabin feel. There is a bit of a western theme, but it is not over done or tacky. The Pancakes are HUGE (as big as the large plate it comes on) and the scones are amazing. I have never found anything on the menu I didnt love. \r The wait can be long to be seated but you can call in to place your name on the list, and the food comes pretty quickly after you've ordered. They dont serve a full breakfast menu all day (too bad) but it is extended past normal breakfast hours. more

Best breakfast 4/19/2007

the breakfast her was really good and you get a lot of it. It has a nice cozy feel and the service is really nice. When youwalk in it's not that great but as you walk around to be seated it's pretty nice. more

Decent American-style food 11/19/2005

A nice restaurant sharing the parking lot with the Best Western, Jeremiah's has decent and plentiful food in a relaxed setting. Reasonable prices, especially for lunch. more

Best Breakfast in Utah 12/8/2004

A Utah institution for breakfast, with variety, abundance, and quality. My favorite dish is the Pancho Villa quesedilla (enough for two people). Check out the 6A.M.-9A.M. Special. There is also Steven's hot chocolate. This is a down-home place with Country-Western decor. You will find truckers and cowboys here. There are no yuppie pretensions. Come early, as seating can be very crowded; especially on the weekends. Located in a large Motel parking lot. Pros: Breakfast, Food/service, Parking Cons: , Distance more
