Would not recommend this dentist for young children. Hung out in waiting room for 30 minutes. Exam areas are small, cramped with equipment that was too large for room, kept bang...

Great for children 2/7/2011

I have been going here for decades and I take all my kids here. They love it, the staff is friendly and I can't figure out what MrBandE is talking about. Honestly I think they either work for some other dentist or are smoking something since we have had nothing but A+ experiences with Dr Bates. more

Not for children. 10/22/2008

Would not recommend this dentist for young children. Hung out in waiting room for 30 minutes. Exam areas are small, cramped with equipment that was too large for room, kept banging my head and my kids were very frightened. DR Bates did not help, very clear that my kids were a nuisance to him. He walked out of the exam room with out even acknowledging me after glaring at my kids for 10 minutes. The nurse was friendly. Will not be going back. Very bad experience for my children. Gentle Dentist 1/14/2003

I have been a patient of Dr. Bates for a handful of years and have always been treated gently and with great respect as a patient. His staff are all friendly and take time to get to know you. I won't go to another dentist but Dr. Bates. I have told all my friends and family about his practice and good news travels fast. Pros: Gentle, Never rushed, appointments on time more
