We haven't been in here for over a year but nothing has changed. First the good: Nice selection of wine and reasonably priced. Unfortunately that is where the good ends. The bad: The staff is always completely drunk, not tipsy, blind drunk including and especially Jenn. Barely civil to customers who are not regulars. The atmosphere: Blindingly bright florescent lights, smells like dogs which are always barking behind the counter, dirty, dusty and unwelcoming. Owners obviously do not take any pride in their business. I guess they make enough money off these wine trips to keep them afloat or they have other income. more

I found Jenn to be rude and unaccomodating, almost bothered by our presence. It was a Saturday afternoon, the place was very sparse with customers. The shop itself seems to be more interested in selling overpriced trips than in educating or engaging the wine buying public. I do not recommend this business; too many other good wine shops in Tampa. more

Wonderful Personal Service, Great Selection and Prices! 11/6/2011

My wife and I enjoy going to Jenn's, and have been doing so for years. Jenn is an expert, and her great knowledge of wine and the ability to discern a customer's palate and tastes make her advice invaluable. Everyone there takes great care and pride in making my wife and me happy, and getting me a deal. I am excited to see a new bistro kitchen opening, because her husband Bob is a fine chef, and the food parings he and Jenn create are outstanding. The monthly wine tastings have live music and are always fun, and the promotional sales have saved me a lot of money. I am also impressed at how much Jenn and Bob do for local charities - the last blowout for the zoo was a blast! Come and see for yourselves, and enjoy a nice experience at a good price. more

A Wonderful Wine Shop 11/4/2011

I hope you will disregard the post dated 9/2/11 and make the determination on your own. Jenn's Wine Shop is one of the best places to go and relax with a great bottle of wine after a hard day or week of work. Jenn is attentive to her customers and learns your likes & dislikes and always suggests the perfect wine for you. The shop is a unique addition to the Carrollwood area and offers more then a place to meet, but serves the community with great charity events for the Tampa Bay area. Stop in and check it out and don't forget to ask Jenn for help, you won't be disappointed. more

Best All Around Place in Carrollwood 11/2/2011

All must disregard the review dated 9/2/11. Not sure if the person was having a bad day or what, however it was inappropriate and unfair to post such inaccurate information. My wife and I have frequented Jenn's for many years. It is a great place to have great wine at reasonable prices, as well as have the opportunity to eat some great food in a wonderful environment. Whether you want to just relax and enjoy the wine, or would like to expand your knowledge of wine, Jenn's is the right place for you. The atmosphere is wonderful and homey, and we have made many friends going there. Go there yourself and try it; you will be thrilled you did! more

Worst Place in Carrollwood 9/2/2011

This review before mine is right...this is not your average wine bar. You are better off buying your wine elsewhere and drinking it at home. The owner is more concerned about her own ego than your purchases. Just look at the mural of herself right out front of the store. The place is dirty and smells of dogs and acetone. Yes, the also have someone doing nails while folks are supposed to be eating and drinking wine around the bar? If you want to be treated badly, then this is the place for you. more

Best customer service, great selection! 1/7/2008

This is not your average wine shop- It's also a wine bar! You can try any bottle of wine at the bar, or drink the pre selected wines. This place has great ambiance. I was there during a football game- yes they have 2 big flat screeen TV's to enjoy without all the hassle of going to a typical bar. Jenn, the owner, is very knowlegable... I think she has found her calling! I HIGHLY recommend this place- whether you are a wine snob, or a beginner! more
