He was impatient and seemed to be in a rush when I was in labor. He didn't check to see if the baby was head down before breaking my water. He had an attitude when I was in pain while he was checking the baby's position (after he broke the water) and decided to do a c section without hardly trying to do anything to avoid it. He showed me no sympathy. I felt like I was just another number and another ""pay check"" in his pocket. He kept me and my family waiting to be discharged a very very long time unnecessarily and didn't even apologize for it. He kept me waiting a long while before follow-ups. During the last follow-up he didn't seem to want to take my questions... like I was holding him up. Please choose another doctor. This precious time in a woman's life is very important and I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. more

He is very professional but makes living with fertility issues so much easier. He is currently doing everything he can to help me and he has no idea how much that really does ease the pain of the whole process by having such a nice staff. Thank you Dr. Dobay! Pros: Nicest fertility specialist that I've had Cons: He is a very busy man more

  • Jennie Stuart Memorial Hospital was the dream of Dr. Edward Stuart, a pioneer physician who practiced medicine in his home in Fairview, Kentucky. His dream became a reality shortly after the turn of the century when his beloved wife became the inspiration and legacy for a new hospital.

Dr. Stuart was born in 1828, near Antioch Church. He graduated from St. Louis Medical College in 1851 and began his medical practice in the Crofton area. After two years, Dr. Stuart moved his practice to Fairview and conducted a modest medical practice in Fairview for the next 67 years, where The Stuart House still stands. He married Jane "Jennie" Vaughn, and they had two children: May, who died in her 20s, and Willie, who died in infancy.
