Best Haircut 2/22/2007

I've had good haircuts before but nothing ever amazing, until I found Jenna. I feel like its a love story but only with Hair. We met online I found her working on Newbury street she left and now is in Newton Center. I'm a religious follower of her, I have sent my friends and family to her. If your looking for an amazing haircut Jenna is your girl. She has a great personality and young upbeat style. Pros: Free Valet Parking more

Absolutely Wonderful Experience 1/12/2006

I went for a haircut with Jenna last night at DeKwa salon. This was the first time I had been with her. I'm very picky and I do not like to take chances with my hair. I wanted to try something fairly new but was a little uncomfortable. Jenna was so thorough and particular that I felt completely at ease with whatever she decided to do. The results were flawless. She has the precision and accuracy of no other stylist I have met. I thought the guy I used to go to was good and she put him to shame. She asked a ton of questions and gave me TONS of advice!! Good any way you look at it! 11/25/2005

I just had my first haircut with Jenna 4 days ago after reading the reviews here. I tried to keep my expectations in check after bad cuts, arrogant attitudes and/or outrageous prices I have found in Boston salons before. I am so happy I went to her! Jenna gave me very good suggestions within the general idea I had, the cut is great and she took her time to make it perfect. After washing and simple blow drying it is still looking great! That is key for me: I am an absolute disaster when it comes to hair styling. Finally, Jenna is a very nice person, relaxed and down to earth. If you are not convinced yet, print out her 20% off for first time clients, I did and it was only $44! but I will be happy to pay full price next time! I can not imagine anyone being unsatisfied with someone so attentive and genuinely committed to giving her customers exactly what they want. She has all qualities you want in a stylist - amazing talent, fantastic personality, great suggestions & advice, and doesn't gouge you on price - allowing me to visit often enough to keep up with my style. Absolutely the best... 10/24/2004

I can never say enough good things about Jenna as a stylist or the cuts she gives. She has given me the best cut of my life--first when she was in training and I was one of her ""hair models"" and then when I came back to her (because no one else in Boston could even come close to her skills) and decided that I would not trust my hair to anyone else. The cuts she gives me make me feel like a million bucks (no matter what my mood is or how crazy my day feels), and I know that she gives them more out of caring about what her clients want, need, and ""feel"" than anything else. She's genuine, nice, energetic, real, human, very stylish, flexible, and, quite simply, THE BEST! Definitely book your next haircut with Jenna. You won't be sorry! Go Jenna!!! more

I have been seeing Jenna since she was just starting her training at Runway. I trust her a lot, and allow her to do creative things with my hair because I know she will make it look great! I think she is so great I can't imagine going to see someone else! more

I had wanted to cut my hair for the longest time as a symbol of the wonderful changes I had been making in my life, but the thought of the actual first cut to my treasured hair was truly scary. I hadn't cut my hair for literally decades - since high school in fact. But when I met Jenna I knew she would be just the person! She has a great style herself and has a wonderful capacity to actually listen to what folks are saying they want. I love that in a person and it gave me the confidence I needed to take the plunge to cut off my long, long hair. Needless to say, I love the outcome, the cut is perfect, and the most frequent comment I get is that my new style makes me look, ""young and sassy."" I love sassy and you can't beat young!!! Jenna is an excellent stylist! She is incredibly attentive to detail. I will no longer trust my hair to anyone else. She is passionate about her field and is always updating her skills/education for cutting and styling. I would highly recommend Jenna to anyone. more

How do you describe an image your after? Somehow Jenna figures this out because the end result is truly distinctive. She takes the time to listen; is clearly devoted to learning the very latest styles and then the cut is International Class! more

AMAZING! 10/6/2004

I'd never gone to the same stylist more than once until Jenna cut my hair. Now I've been back twice and as long as I'm within 30 minutes of Boston, she will be my stylist. She takes her time, she listens to you, and in the end the cut is precision-perfect. Even though I have naturally wavy hair, she always takes the time to blow it dry and flat-iron it, which shows off her superb work. Can't wait until my next appointment!
