I looked online for a good stylist in OC and stumbled upon this salon. I booked an appt. With Krista Wong and she did a decent job the first couple of times I went to her. However...

Best Salon!! Krista Wong is the BEST!! 1/24/2011

I never look forward to seeking out a new hair dresser just because it takes me literally 3 times or more to find the perfect one. When we relocated to the O.C, I started my search online, and came across this salon, and read the reviews on Krista Wong. Needless to say, she is AMAZING, and did such a wonderful job on my hair. I am VERY picky about the cut, and color of my hair, and she NAILED IT. If you're looking for a superb stylist, and a great atmosphere, then this is the place!! more

Wonderful Salon 12/21/2010

I started going to Jeffrey Michaels' Salon after being referred by a co-worker. I was a walk in... I was lucky to have be seen by Krista on my first visit. I've been going to Krista at Jeffrey Michaels for the last 4 years and so happy to have found her after bad experiences at other salons. I've gone from long hair to short to long and everything in between and wouldn't trust anyone else! more

Emily is AMAZING! 12/15/2010

I read about all these great reviews about this Salon, and they are right. Great friendly service. Emily did an amazing job with my highlights, I drove from LA and it was very worth it. I use to go the expensive salons in Beverly Hills and the outcome is never worth it. The pricing is very affordable and they use top quality products. Emily also gave me cute holiday gift bag filled with many product samples! If you are looking for great service, good quality work, this is the top salon!! more

Great haircut and highlight 12/10/2010

I was referred to this salon by a friend, and had Katie cut my hair. She did a wonderful job with my thick, frizzy hair. I just went back to her for a weave/highlight. This is the best highlight I have ever had; even my husband commented on how great my hair looks. Thanks Katie. more

Wonderful Salon!!! 12/8/2010

I have been going to JMS for 8 years now!!! i used to salon hop but now i could not imagine going anywhere else! James is my hair stylist and I love when he does my hair! He does amazing color correction and i always walk out happy! we have great conversation and i love going to the salon!\r \r the staff is also amazing and so kind! always making sure you are most comfortiable! more

Best Salon in OC! 12/7/2010

So I have to say, this is possibly the best salon I've been to. I drive from Fountain Valley to Lake Forest and will always come here regardless of where I move. It's nothing overdone or somewhere that you think you have to fit in with the Jones' just to get a cut. I like the fact that I don't have to try and look my best just to get a haircut since I usually shower right after and don't want to have to get ready twice in one day. But regardless, the staff is super friendly the moment I walk in and do whatever they can to make you comfortable until your chair is ready. Andrew cuts my hair and he is the best!! My sister and best friend are hair stylists and I was skeptical about going to someone new to cut and style my hair like my friend did, but I must admit that Andrew blows them out of the water! (Don't tell my friend though, haha) He is the only one that knows how to deal with my stubborn thick hair and actually styles it so I look fashionable. His techniques are amazing, I consider it like magic. I have complete trust in whatever he does and I'm not afraid to try something new because no matter what it always ends up looking amazing. I have never had compliments about my hair until I started getting my cut from Andrew. Also, their selection of products is phenomenal if you have no idea what to get on your own. I could never see myself going anywhere else to get my cut. more

Great First Experience 11/17/2010

After seeing all of the great reviews, I decided to try Jeffrey Michael's Salon last Thursday. I was apprehensive at the beginning, but Tanya did an outstanding job - highlights and haircut. Pricing was reasonable. I still get great comments as to how everyone likes my new look. I will definetely go back. Thanks Tanya. more

I LOVE this salon, everyone makes you feel so welcome as soon as you step one foot in. Right away they ask you if you if they can get you anything, water or coffee, etc. Everyone is always so upbeat and cheerful. It's a really really good atmosphere.I get my hair done by James Bancroft, he exceeds my expectations EVERYTIME. Just sit back and relax, listen to some good music and get exactly what you wanted done to your hair and more, never disappointed-it's truly amazing. Oh yeah..and while you sit under the heat, you get to put your feet on one of those vibrating massage thingy's like they have at amusements parks.. ohhhh I loooove those things!!! Then you get a mini head/neck massage while you're getting shampoo'd, and it's actually longer than 6 seconds! I've been to some pretty fancy salon's, where they charge you $350 for a few highlites and a trim, and I didn't get a quarter of the treatment I do here. This salon has reasonable prices and you get treated like a celebrity-no other place in orange county do you get that kind of service. Just wanted to say thank you to you guys, it feels so good knowing that when I have something special coming up l I can at least count on my hair looking perfect! THANK YOU JAMES!! more

KRISTA WONG is TOPS! STOP HERE! 11/12/2010

\r Krista is NOT your average hair stylist; if that is what you want; head elsewhere. I can in with a bad grown out haircut with color that was ultra messed up, \r \r Krista STYLED and COLORED my hair into an incredible look that literally turned heads when I went back to work. In fact a Stranger asked me where I got my hair done because my hair looked FANTASTIC! If you want that experience head over to Krista Wong!\r \r Accept NO SUBSTITUTES --KRISTA WONG ROCKS! more

I see Jamie and she is such an amazing stylist. My highlights and hair cut have never looked better, I love the way my hair looks and feels when I leave. more

My stylist @ jeffery Michael's is James Bankcroft, the ""Hair Mechanic"" . James has a natural style & vision & takes his work very serious. James always seems to know the right thing to do & how much to do of it. If you try him you will be very pleased. Never looked better 11/4/2010

I work next store at Bobby D's. I asked my ber tender Kim where do u get ur hair done it always looks great. She told me she goes to James next door. So I gave James a call n made an appointment. This was my 4th time back n I love it. No matter what I want done to my hair it always comes out perfect. \r I have half my hair high lighted n decided to put some low lightds in, I got so many complaments how great my hair looks n eveyone wanted to know who does my hair...... I told them this great guy name James. more

So happy I chose this salon! 11/2/2010

I just moved here from Cincinnati and I had been researching where to get my hair cut. I ususally ask someone whose hair I like where they go, but I don't know that many people here yet. I saw all of the fabulous reviews about Jeffrey Michael's salon and decided to try it out. Katie cut my hair today and I'm extremely pleased with it. She was very thorough and friendly. I'm so happy I found such a great salon and stylist the first time around. I highly recommend this place. BTW the prices were pretty affordable (considering the cost for a haircut is much lower in Ohio than California :) more

I just had an awesome experience at Jeffrey Michaels Salon. Krista is my new stylist/colorist and I could not be more pleased!\r \r \r Having finally given up on the 2-hour-plus round trip to my old salon since moving from the area, I decided to search for a new salon. \r \r Having researched many salons via CitySearch, I decided to give Jeffrey Michaels Salon a try. I selected Krista since I had botched-DIY hair like another one of her clients described.\r \r Krista was amazing! She immediately knew what to do to fix my hair. The color is exactly what I wanted and the haircut she gave me is terrific. \r \r I have received many, many complements on my hair so I know I made the right decision.\r \r p.s. As an added bonus, prices were quite reasonable. Believe me, I have paid much, much more for salon services elsewhere and left with inferior results.
