Jefferson's draws an older crowd (late twenties, early thirties), which is good when I want a change of pace. The atmosphere is very laid-back and relaxing. I like to come in here...

Good food 4/12/2006

This place has the best burgers in town, hands down. The ice cream pies are also very, very good. The atmosphere is nice, the decor is ala-Applebees, and the service isn't always the best, but the place is pretty good all-in-all. The bar is kind of expensive, so I wouldn't recommend Jefferson's for someone looking to get drunk, but that's the point I think; its more of an upscale, family friendly place. more

Kind of an older crowd, but fun 4/8/2006

Jefferson's draws an older crowd (late twenties, early thirties), which is good when I want a change of pace. The atmosphere is very laid-back and relaxing. I like to come in here on Sundays sometimes to watch the Vikings game or just have lunch. Speaking of lunch, the food is excellent, especially the burgers and fries. But Jefferson's is a bit more expensive than other places and farther away from my apartment, so I don't really go there very often. more
