Jefferson Lakeside

I've lived at Jefferson Lakeside for a year now and I will not be renewing my lease. There are so many reasons. When I was touring the property everything looked beautiful and nice and quiet and the few items in my apartment that needed to be fixed were put on a maintenance request and I was assured that all would be taken care of within a couple of days. After signing the lease, some things were never taken care of and others took weeks or in one case several months to be fixed. There is trouble with crime. BURGLARIES and VANDALISM. Not to mention the 'officer' that is supposed to patrol the property that I was promised when I moved in was NEVER hired. There is also problems with teens and college-age kids who party all weekend and all night. Calls to management do not resolve anything. You will be calling over and over again before they even mention something. You will be better off finding someplace with good reviews. I have been contacting the administration for more several months about irregularities at the gym (for example, the treadmills and the TV are not working, etc.), and they have not been able to fix anything. The answers have always been the same: we are ""working"" on it but nothing gets done. I am a new resident and the fact that the apartment complex had a gymn was one of my criteria for deciding to rent an apartment here. Also, they do not answer phone calls. The rest of the apartment complex and its services are ""good."" However, based on this bad experience, i will not recommend it to anybody. more
