Honest & Fair Plumbers in Akron OH 4/8/2014

Jeff the Plumber is by far the BEST plumbing company I have worked with in the Akron, Ohio area. Honest and fair, no other plumbers can compare to the reputable name of Jeff the Plumber. I used them for an emergency repair in December. They came out, treated me with respect, and fixed my busted pipe, and it all ended up in a reasonable bill at the end. I had such a good experience with this company that I've scheduled them to come out to do some remodeling in my bathroom come summer time. If you need a friendly, honest plumber call Jeff the Plumber! more

Very honest plumber 10/22/2008

I had Jeff the Plumber come out to my house for what I thought was a small repair. The technician was very thorough in what needed to be done and explained to me how much it was going to cost me. I was able to save the money and have them come out to do the work. I was reading a review posted in 2005 about them not being honest. I found them to be very honest, hard working and skillfull. This is a first class plumbing company. more

No problems with this plumber--good and reasonable 9/18/2006

I haven't had to use a plumber at a house since I am a renter, but I have had to call one from where I work, and we have always used Jeff the Plumber. My sister-in-law's office also uses Jeff the Plumber. Neither of our workplaces has had any problems, the plumbers (who aren't always named Jeff, by the way) are skilled, honest, and trustworthy. They don't overcharge or try to price gouge. PROS: Honest and skilled CONS: none more

Excellent 11/17/2005

We had a banging noise in our pipes. We thought it was air in the pipes so we called Jeff the Plumber after trying to fix the issue ourselves. Turns out the problem was not enough water pressure. Jeff could have charged us for air in the pipes but he was HONEST! He charges us a small fee and "tied" the pipes down. We will be using him for our bathroom remodel! He also came to an "emergency" appointment without charging a crazy fee. PROS: Honest and price CONS: more

Technician not honest 3/28/2005

I had a leaking faucet once and called Jeff the Plumber. The technician came replaced one pipe and he also told me all the pipe under the sink should all be reaplced. He said they all looks like they will suddently break one day. The total cost for me will be about $1300.00 I told him I will discuss this with my hudsband. The faucet leaked again right after he left and I had to call him back. He told me there is another pipe also need to be reaplced. I changed the 2nd pipe. Guess what? It is still leaking!! I called to complain, they wouldn't give me my money back but they said they can come take a look again. I told them forget it! Called another plumbing guy, it turned out it wasn't the pipe at all!! It was only a piece of rubber which only cost me 5 dollar and he also told me nothing with all my pipes at all. Apparently , Jeff the PLumber guy doesn't know a damn thing about plumbing!! more
