Great Visit 8/18/2005

We have visited this church 3 times, while we continue to look for a church that fits us, I believe this may be the closest. The service was brought to us in todays times and words. the ladies in the nursery are wonderful. When we left our 2 1/2 year old I wondered how she would be in light of a stranger but come to find out she did not even notice we were gone. They had sung songs and were in a big circle while the teacher read stories. We felt very welcomed here. more

Friendly and Welcoming Church 7/24/2005

Rivermont Presbyterian Church is a church filled with energetic and willing members. They are friendly and outgoing and eager to answer God's call in their lives. The church has, in the past few years, chosen to focus strongly on mission work, both abroad and also locally. They participate in the Interfaith Hospitality Network, support the Northside Neighborhood House, the Community Food Kitchen and several other programs. There are two worship services, one at 8:45 and one at 11, with Sunday School in between for both children and adults. Nurseries are also provided. Take some time to check them out. more
