I must admit that I was drawn in by the big boys (Starbucks, Peets, etc.) too many times and didn't take a hard look at the ""ma & pa"" shops out there until now.
After moving back to the area I noticed that things were changing in the way of big box and chain stores making their home and mark in the area. I grew up going to places that made our local communities in the area thrive long before we ever heard of Starbucks. Places like Jazzed harken me back to times like that when you popped in for a spell and even had the opportunity to chat it up with the owners who too are locals.
Jazzed is a delightful place that is true to it's name. Jazz music softly playing in the foreground, sounds of coffee grinders humming in unison, and catching a gander at the breakfast pastries and other foods begging for you to take a bite. I'm a foodie and a burgeoning coffee fan so this place takes the cake for me.
My personal favorite drink is the blended Caramel Lava Latte. Talk about a frigid liquid festival for my tastebuds, it's AMAZING!! Add the friendly service to that and I think you've earned a customer for life Jazzed! I urge anyone who likes great premium coffee products and fresh foods to try them out.
