Best

I have had two facials with Laura and have also bought and used some Dermalogica products she recommended. I like her because she cares, knows what she is talking about, and gives...

Worst

I read about this "spa" in Atlanta magazine and looked reviews up on line and thought I would give it a try. I was getting the Spa package with the facial, massage, mani & pedi....

Fall in love with your skin! 9/10/2011

I have had two facials with Laura and have also bought and used some Dermalogica products she recommended. I like her because she cares, knows what she is talking about, and gives a great facial with a relaxing massage. The best part about working with her came when I ran into a friend I haven't seen in over a year and she said that my skin looks great! I am over 50 and live outdoors, so I don't hear that very often. Thanks Laura, for making it happen and helping me to feel good about my skin! more

Love this place! 1/24/2011

I always had great service at Jazmin's (manicure, pedicure, ear-candling, eyebrow wax, massage). I particularly liked Oksana's massages. more

Not professional 7/25/2010

I went to the Decatur location for the first time to get a fill in for diamond nails, which i had been getting elsewhere for 6 years. The job was done very sloppy, the gel was overflowing on to my actual finger and it was not done all the way to my cuticle, nor was the polish, so it looked like I needed a fill in that day! The woman seemed like she was unsure of what she was doing fully. I always give another chance, so I within went again a week and a half ago. This woman shaped my nails great and seemed to do a good job. Unfortunatly, within a few days the bottoms seemed to chip off and break, 2 nails came off, and the gel coating started to peel. So, I decided to try the Little Five location today. She did not seem concerned at all that I was a little disappointed from my previous experience and even LESS concerned when she sliced through my actual fingernail (this has happened before, it's the fact that she did not even ask if I was ok). She, like my first experience, seemed unsure of what she was doing. Altough me nails look good right now, I am cusious to see how they hold up this week, but will not return to this "spa" again more

Not impressed 5/10/2010

I was not impressed with this spa. I received a thermal body treatment and it was a big waste of money to me. It did nothing for my skin and was in no way relaxing. I also got a manicure and pedicure here, both were decent, but I felt I could have just went to a regular nail shop and got the same thing for much cheaper prices. It was definitely nothing spectacular. Pros: clean Cons: not worth the price more

No quality control for massage services 4/22/2010

I recently went here for a massage purchased with a Groupon coupon. The "therapist" they assigned me obviously had very little experience with massage. Someone had taught her a very few techniques, but most of her treatment was much like rubbing suntan oil into my back. Worst massage I've ever had. To make matters worse, the massage was supposed to be a full hour with extra add-ons, and I realized after I left that she hadn't even made it an hour. Definitely not worth the money. Pros: Atmosphere has possibilities Cons: Bad technique, lousy quality and commitment more

Awesome Facial! 3/19/2010

I had a great facial with Krystle last weekend. She has great hands too, loved the hand & foot massage that came with it! Krystle gave me great recommendations for products but was not pushy...just sent me home with samples of what she suggested. I have also had many positive pedi's here, but this visit my pedi started later than my friends & ended before? What's up with that? I was able to see the girl chillin with her feet up & eatin a snack in the side room...this was disappointing. Pros: incentives for new clients Cons: pedicure was too short more

Great Spa at Affordable Prices 2/26/2010

Jazmin spa is an excellent place for all of your spa needs. The facials are excellent - ask for Krystle for facials and waxing needs - great waxing with very little pain. Manicures, Pedicures and Massages are all fantastic. All the perks of an upscale spa including beautiful surroundings and great staff but at affordable pricing. Pros: Superior Staff more

Wonderful Facial 2/17/2010

I was referred to Krystle by my partner who raved about what a fantastic facial she had at Jazmin Spa. What a wonderful experience. My face looks and feels younger. I have already booked another facial appointment, Try her, you won't be disappointed. Pros: Krystle is very knowledgeable more

Clean and Friendly Spa 2/13/2010

I recommend this spa to anyone living in Decatur. Its extremely clean. The girls are very friendly and the aesthetician are amazing. I am a regular for manicures, pedicures and facials. They do an amazing job every time. Pros: clean, friendly, great service Cons: none more

Great Manicures and Pedicures for a Good Price! 2/7/2010

I drive from Buckhead to Decatur for my manicures and pedicures because I can't find a Buckhead salon that's as clean and that pays such attention to detail for the same price. Bee and Wendy are my go-to women. They're great, but all of them are really good and friendly. And the instruments and foot basins are always clean! more

You'll love It! 1/27/2010

GREAT! Go every week and every week I'm happy. more

Great Experience!! 12/16/2009

I had a facial and a massage. Debra Sorrell was the estitian for the facial. She was genuinely concerned about making me comfortable. Debra did a great job a educating me on the prducts she was using on my face and each products benefits. The facial massage was great and I could see fantastic results when she was through. Pros: Great Attitude of Staff and Excellent Product Knowledge more

Great for price! 8/11/2009

I've been going to other premier spas in the Atlanta area for several years now for facials and decided to stop by here because its much closer to my new home and a little bit cheaper. In all honesty, there's really not much you can beat here! The spa is located in a little shopping plaza. The store front does have pedicure chairs along the side wall, but I was never really a fan of "private" pedicure cubicals anyways so that didn't bother me that it was in plain view. The front is lined with the typical product shelves and decor, which is nice. The private rooms were typical of other spas; there were minor distractions (noise from a/c or other people talking loudly) but if you're getting a massage, it can't be that hard to relax! The music playing in the room helped and I did not notice any noise, though my friend did. At first I was taken back at some of the differences at this spa, but every place is different and in the end, it really doesn't matter. I had a wonderful facial by the manager(??) and felt that what she told me was sincere and honest, not sales pitchy like at Spa Sydell or others. She recommended certain products and let me walk away without pressure to buy. This spa is generally more affordable versus the competition and is virtually the same service. Minor details and flaws, but then again, I'm not hard to please - it gets the job done. Pros: great prices, convenient location, very caring staff Cons: small location more

Pedicure pretty good 7/21/2009

It's a nail joint not a spa atmosphere. The pedicure chair was comfortable. Things appeared to be clean. My pedicure came out nice and lasted for a long time. Massage was a decent length of time. Exfoliation was good too. I think it should be a bit cheaper for what you get. Pros: clean, parking Cons: atmosphere, price more

GREAT SPA!!! Great service and super clean 6/15/2009

I have been going to Jazmin spa since it opened a few years ago. I absolutely love their manicure/pedicure services. They do an amazing job and they are VERY clean. I would recommend their facials and massage too ; ) Pros: GREAT Job at reasonable prices - - more

Wonderful atmosphere 4/21/2009

They really take care of their customers and make you feel pampered. My feet are always 100% happier than when I walked in. Pros: Caring staff and quality service more

Worst Bikini Wax EVER. 8/10/2008

This spa is close to my home and I have enjoyed their pedicure services (though they're not my standard shop for pedicures, as I feel they're a bit overpriced, I do stop in if I don't have time to drive elsewhere), so I decided to try their waxing services and scheduled a brazilian. NEVER AGAIN. The waxer seemed inexperienced and unsure of herself. It was painful, took forever, and she could not complete the services, as she'd used too much wax and matted up the hair. She tried to remove the excess and start over, but failed in that as well, leaving me sore, red, oily, and still hairy. This is absolutely NOT how a waxing service of any type should go, but certainly not something as delicate as a brazilian wax! In addition, no discount for poor services was granted to me in an effort to retain my business, nor were any apologies made by management when I complained. I was simply invited to come back the next day and let that butcher of a waxer try again! I've been to several spas and salons offering this service and this was by far my worst experience. Pros: Pedicure services, during non-peak hours Cons: WAXING! more

Loved it! 3/26/2008

Ok to start I just want to say that I definitly agree that the masage room is not located in a good spot and if I was not ok with it the noise would have irritated me. The pedicure was wonderful! My feet felt so soft and the NEVER feel soft :) The polish lasted longer than it ever had. Pros: Location, service, price, parking Cons: masage room is noisy more

If you want the Spa experience..Go to a SPA! 9/3/2007

I read about this "spa" in Atlanta magazine and looked reviews up on line and thought I would give it a try. I was getting the Spa package with the facial, massage, mani & pedi. When I got there I walked in and to my surprise it looked like a regular nail shop. I said, ok, well, maybe there are rooms in the back. My massage was fine, but because this was a nail shop with two rooms used for spa services, I could hear people talking and laughing (meaning I couldn't really relax and enjoy the massage.) When you walk out of the room you have to squeeze by the nail techs and the row of spa pedicure chairs. The facial was fine but I could still hear people talking (still couldn't relax.) My pedicure was the least enjoyable. I felt like she was rushing because I hardly stuck my feet in the water before she pulled them out and started working. She was done in about 15 minutes then the lady came to do my manicure and was snatching my hand for each process and was talking and not really paying attention to the service she was giving me. Needless to say, I left out feeling more stressed than when I came in and wishing I had just paid extra and went to Spa Sydell or another spa. This place is just a nail shop that has hired a massage therapist and an esthetician and they have set up there extra rooms to be used for the services. The package is advertised online as $160 but the techs were calculating up there own prices as if I was paying them individually. I had to tell the lady that it said $160 online or else she would have charged me more. My suggestion is if you want the spa exerience go to Spa Sydell or another real spa establishment, so you can put on a robe and relax. If you want a real pedicure, go to The Nail Shop (that is the name) at 2756 Candler Rd Decatur Ga 30034. They ALWAYS take atleast 45 minutes to an hour to do my pedicure. But I guess in this case, I got what I paid for. Pros: Package Price Cons: False Advertisement all around more

best mani/pedi hands down 2/19/2006

Some of these so called top spas in Atlanta can't compete with their service and price point. I drive almost 50 minutes to recieve their peppermint pedicure and manicure here. The pedicure includes a soak, trim, exfoliation (both pumice stone and a leg exfoliation rub), massage and paint. The manicure includes a trim, massage, use of those hand warmer thingys (don't know the name), exfoliation and paint. No matter which tech I get, I'm almost always pleased with the french (I am kind of picky and must admit there were a couple of newer girls that didn't quite get it down as much as I would have liked) but I can always find a great duo to do my nails there. And all this for under $50! I've payed at least twice that much at these so called "spas" and got awful service. Pros: friendly service, price point, last minute appt's more
