Jay's Place l l

Ok, after leaving Da Bomb and never entering because they jacked up the cover at the door, I traveled back to Stone Mountain to go to Jay's Place I. Jay's Place I is the sports bar half of the Jay's Place complex. Jay Place II is the night club. Well the shopping center parkling lot was packed. The crowd was an interesting mix mainly 20 -30 somethings, dressed in jeans, tanks, tims, or polos. a few gold grills and lots of tatts.. There were some 40 -60 year olds mixed in the crowd. Lots of pool tables, thumping music, live dj, I went to the bar and ordered a dring. Rum and coke. It was pretty strong. 6.00 for a 5 oz cup. The bartender was celebrating her birthday so she had money pinned to her shiirt. I tipped her 2 bucks and she dropped it in the tip bucket,..she was only accepting 5 and above for her shirt lol. I asked for a menu to order food.. the prices were good from 4.96 to about 8 bucks.I ordered the whiting sandwich with fries to go for 4.95. So as I waited at the bar, I enjoyed the music, watched the crowd and waited on my food. and waited and waited and waited. There was a platter that was ready to deliver that sat there for 10 mins...it was mine..but the birthday bartender was busy dancing at the bar enjoying her birthday that even when she went to the back and looked at the platter sitting there...passed it up and came back out front to continue her dance. So i asked the guy if my order was ready. He grabbed the order and gave it to me. I asked was it still hot because that plate had been out for 10 mins. He said it should be alright. Well i was too hungry to protest ..i finished my second drink and took the food home. It was pretty good. Still warm.. Over all it was an ok spot to go to if you have nothing else to do. Jays is a large club so you don't have to worry about being crowded. Yet the people in there can be a little bit ""round the way"" If you are an unescorted female, or you are looking for something upscale, this is not the place for you. my first time going to jays place was an experience :) . i enjoyed myself really. it's a nice place to go on Thursdays, with the girls and just have a great time. the drinks aren't too pricey but u gotta let them kno if u really wanna kick in ur glass, cause like most place, they'll give u alot of ice and try to water it down. but other than that that, i think its a great spot to go to relax after work, and get a lil show :) Pros: fun and inviting; a great way to let loose and hang with the girls (thurs. nights) Cons: waiters and waitresses could be more accomodating more

Jay's Place is a great place for parties. I attended a birthday party there, and started going there on weekends. I recently started going there on Thursday nights. (Ladies Night) This club is Atlanta's best kept secret. The drinks are great as well. Check out this spot, if you want to have a great time this is it!!!!!! this is a nice spot to go drink and chill. Everyone should check Jay's place 2 out. I was at this spot for the first time some weeks ago and I liked it. If was cool,I mean the laides was nice looking and I had a good time. whats so good about it is everyone don't really no about the spot yet but they need to,If you need a place to bring your girl to get a good drink,chill and look at a game this is the spot Jaysplace 2 be there!!!
