I spent a lot of money at Firestone in Clifton Park and they never fixed my car right. Jay in 2 visits has fixed the vacuum leak my car had for 2 yrs. He found issues that had never been fixed properly. His prices are very reasonable and he does a great job. Jay is truely a master mechanic. I highly recommend him! I moved to the area a few years ago & was on the hunt for a repair shop when my car started to act funny. I brought it to Midas and was given a rather high estimate. I happened to come across Jay's and read a good review on google and decided to give it a shot. I'm very happy I did. I have brought my car there when it needs service ever since. The rates have all been reasonable and I've never felt he was trying to sell me on items or get me to fix things that weren't broken. He just diagnoses the problem, charges a fair rate and fixes it. The only downside to Jay's Auto is that it is preferred for you to drop your car off in the morning and leave it there to be fixed over the day. This might be a little inconvenient for people who want to drop it off at 4 and pick it up at 6 (or something similar). Personally, I haven't had a problem with that, the prices more than make up for a day or half-day without my car. Pros: Good service & prices Cons: Takes awhile more
