After reading some of these reviews I decided I had to write & set the record straight about JWF. I was there for 10 years & can tell you first hand that it's a wonderful facility. The stalls are always cleaned and the horses get the best possible care. Every facility that you board at will have some people that don't get along all the time. Wake up...That's human nature. Know the owner and would trust him with my horse and my first born child. Don't believe the bad reviews you read on the internet. Visit JWF yourself and you will see that I am 100% right. Jean more

Great family stable and horseback riding facility. Big arena's to ride in, multiple turnout areas, a private grazing and trail area, ponies for the little ones to ride. more

Great facility 9/19/2011

Jaynesway Farms is an excellent facility. I have been there for over thirteen years, bought my horse from them, and continue to keep him there. There are automatic water cups, multiple turnout options, a large outdoor arena, a large heated indoor arena, and many other benefits to the property. There are trainers and horses avaliable for riders of all levels. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeble. I recommend Jaynesway Farms to individuals on a regular basis. The atmosphere is very family oriented and geared towards ensuring clients have a fun and educational experience. Wether you're looking to take your first riding lesson or to bring your competition horse to a new barn, you will find Jaynesway Farms a wonderful place to be. more

HORRIBLE FACILITIY 12/9/2010

The owner of the stables is a horrible woman. She is constantly yelling at the customers--be they the boarders or the girls riding the horses. We boarded here for a while and had to get out because the conditions are disgusting. If they were to be checked by any kind of agency, they would be shut down. The mice are overwhelming. I would find a dead mouse in my horse's water bowl on a weekly basis. Not to mention if you leave anything out for more than five minutes, expect the mice to chew through it or poop in it. The automatic waterers are NEVER cleaned. The stalls are never fully cleaned out. The workers would just take up the upper layer of shavings. The aisles have never cleaned, one of the workers just "sweeps" the big piles of dirt. The wash racks having manure in them always. more

Not Impressed 8/17/2009

I was there for a few months before my 1st choice stable had an opening. If you want turn out, you have to pay for it. And then your horse gets turned out in the arena for 20min. That is not worth it. The only turnout areas are one small field, and then a couple tiny little paddocks, no permanent fields. Pros: Heated Arena Cons: Just about everything else... more

Find Someplace Else 4/15/2009

The stalls are barely cleaned, the urine spots are awful, the horses always have thrush, and the barely put down any fresh shavings, which gives the horses bad hock sores. Pros: None Cons: Bad Management, NOT Honest, Dirty Stalls more

Jaynesway Farms -- A great place to be! 12/25/2008

My daughter and I have been boarding, training, and showing our horses with Jaynesway Farms for over seven years. It is a VERY family-oriented facility with a knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful staff. I know every trainer in the place and ALL of them have years of riding and teaching experience. For those of you who judge people by their appearances, shame on you! You are obviously uninformed and very close-minded. There is no place I'd rather be than with my horse at Jaynesway Farms! Pros: Best facility around with heated arena and automatic watering cups. more

ABSOLUTLEY HORRIBLE PLACE 12/3/2008

I would not let my daughter be left alone there. Very creepy people. Trainers (with few exception) are not qualified to train, they can't even ride themselves. They lean against a wall and scream at your children across the arena. They bad mouth customers, they gossip and cause major problems between other trainers. Trainers do not get alone and try to steal the others customers. They sell on the most part poor quality horses and at high price. But when you want to try to sell your horse, they won't help you. You pay for turnout, but most of the time your horse doesn't get out or if they do it is not for a long time. It is over crowded in the winter. Also the employees behind the desk are rude and sit and gossip with trainers or other boarders and cause trouble. All around not a nice place. Pros: location Cons: crowded, under qualified staffing more

Beware - this place is scary 10/30/2008

Not only are these people related to the Criminals that disposed of Mrs. Brach, they are not nice people. Unless you are willing to buy a $15,000 horse from them, pay them a commission, and then pay them for the priveledge to board and ride there, they treat you very poorly. I don't ever recommend dropping your daughter off at this place with creepy people walking around, with tattoos everywhere on his body, and always smoking a cigar. . . . . . . this place has no class, and is a "hang out" for Rodeo Queen wanna be losers. Do your research and find a better facility. more
