While they offer classes in various kinds of middle eastern dance, I took the beginning belly dance class, and it was fantastic! It is a great inner core strengthening workout, toning abs and back. More importantly, it is just really really fun. Great for oosening up hips and body. It is interesting to learn a bit more of the culture, though learning the dance. Some of the classtimes are more busy than others,
the Saturday class being quite busy. Even though you "sign up" for a particular evening, you really are simply signing up for coming to a class 10 times during that session, which is quite handy for people with busy schedules. If you miss class, you can come to any other class that week.
